"The MTA bus is right across the street it goes directly to subway or LIRR. To come home it's around the corner, so traveling via MTA is very simple. If you drive all major highways/expressway's are around the block too."

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here for my whole life and my family too, this school is absolutely horrible they always have physical fights and have a lot of arguments with the students and a lot of students have gotten hurt. Mostly all students use racial slurs when speaking. There is also lots of bugs, for example, cockroaches, spiders, centipedes, and etc. They also don’t clean the restrooms very well and not all female students have access to the proper products they need. A lot of students go through a hard time here like getting cyber bullied or getting into fights that then get posted online. Teachers don’t listen when students get hurt. Overall this school is horrible would not recommend to anyone looking to sent there child here.Parent Review8mo ago11 Reviews - Ps Is 295

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am an old student of Incarnation Catholic Acadamy. I went to this school since nursery till 5th grade. I am currently in 7th and I would just like to say that you would be better off sending your kid to public school. This school you have to pay for is NOT worth what your paying for. I never really liked this school because the teachers were always rude to me even though I was a good student. I always felt confused because I felt that I never really understood these lessons I now know why. This school does NOT teach you correctly. I remember I always used to cry because I was getting poor graes in math because I didn't understand . The teachers don't teach you properly. When I started my first day of public school I realized that I did know how to do the math but the teachers werent teaching right. I would advise you to send your kid to public school before you ruin there child hood and I am not being crazy im serious Public schools give you more than this school will. This school even cut off field trips and recess.Other Review3y ago14 Reviews - Our Lady Of Lourdes School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was my child's first year in this school. I feel that overall the school is a good school; however, I felt that my child's teacher was little lazy. The teacher would gave exams but would not give the students their books to come home with, so they could study. Then once they took the exams I never knew how my child did because the teacher would not send the exams home. I would always have to ask the teacher how my child did and the teacher would say fine; but would not send her home with the exams. I did not feel as a parent I should have to ask to see my child's test and have to ask the teacher over and over to send her books home so she could study. I felt that the teacher mean well, but did not want to put in the extra work. I love the fact that the classes are small, but feel that the teacher should try to help the students more and encourage them to always do well. I also do not like that this school does not have a school nurse and hope that they get one soon.Parent Review11y ago2 Reviews
