"Only moved here from Fishtown because it was cheaper but there is police activity everyday, and just seedy activity in a way. I wouldn’t say it’s safe but I mean it’s cheap."

"I commute on the BSL, the commute is decent, despite the occasional rowdy after school children. I don’t feel comfortable riding the train very late at night though, with the fear of being robbed or harassed. "

"Not too bad for the notoriety of North Philly. It’s safe enough, you just need basic street smarts. I haven’t had any problems even in areas people say are bad neighborhoods."

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is by far one of the worsts schools in the area of Philadelphia, Children are basically eating cardboard lunches.. Most of the teachers are not qualified to teach. The special needs programs are a joke!. They treat their students horrible. Bullying is very active in the school by students and staff alike. The Autism support class program is garbage... The whole staff has to be fired and replaced!!!Parent Review4y ago - Gesu School
