"Lack of grass or anywhere for a dog to get any real exercise. The only place is vacant lots to walk them, which can have their own hazards"

"Area is very Dangerous I do not recommend. Rent is entirely too high for the area to be full of drugs and violence "

"Only moved here from Fishtown because it was cheaper but there is police activity everyday, and just seedy activity in a way. I wouldn’t say it’s safe but I mean it’s cheap."

"There is not a lot of clean green space or parks in the immediate area that’s safe for dogs. Most people do not clean up dog waste "

"I use septa to travel out to norristown for work. I usually don’t have issues, the subways station is around the corner and the. The bus is also on the corner with the trolley going east to west "

"I commute on the BSL, the commute is decent, despite the occasional rowdy after school children. I don’t feel comfortable riding the train very late at night though, with the fear of being robbed or harassed. "

"It’s great to live here if you go to Temple. Neighbors are respectful if you are respectful. Which is how it is in most places. "

"Not too bad for the notoriety of North Philly. It’s safe enough, you just need basic street smarts. I haven’t had any problems even in areas people say are bad neighborhoods."

"I grow up in the neighborhood as a child, at that time Strawberry Mansion was a beautiful place to grow up,I moved away in the 80's came back bought a home in 2009 there's no community any more the people simply do not know anything about how to live in a community. People don't seem to understand what it is to keep your very own property clean.Nothing about their own civic duties this is one of the hardest places to live if your a conscious citizen."

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is by far one of the worsts schools in the area of Philadelphia, Children are basically eating cardboard lunches.. Most of the teachers are not qualified to teach. The special needs programs are a joke!. They treat their students horrible. Bullying is very active in the school by students and staff alike. The Autism support class program is garbage... The whole staff has to be fired and replaced!!!Parent Review6y ago5 Reviews - Gesu School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been a part of Gesu School since 1996. I became Alumni in 2005. Since Sister Ellen departure (may she rest in peace) this school has gone downhill. She was replaced with the worst leader Alana Lee as principal. Alana makes discriminating comments about students, staff and families while showing favoritism to only a selected few. She is unprofessional and does not deserve to be a leader of this school. Teachers and staff barely stay the full school year and are disgusted with her leadership. Bryan Carter who is the president is also terrible and needs to be replaced. I would NOT RECOMMEND this school to anyone.Parent Review4mo ago7 Reviews
