"Only moved here from Fishtown because it was cheaper but there is police activity everyday, and just seedy activity in a way. I wouldn’t say it’s safe but I mean it’s cheap."

"I commute on the BSL, the commute is decent, despite the occasional rowdy after school children. I don’t feel comfortable riding the train very late at night though, with the fear of being robbed or harassed. "

"ABSOLUTELY ALL of my neighbors are friendly the kids are so nice and there is no crime and I am okay with my grandchildren to go outside so that they can play with other children this is a very very nice and pleasant neighborhood for kids from my experience."

"Not too bad for the notoriety of North Philly. It’s safe enough, you just need basic street smarts. I haven’t had any problems even in areas people say are bad neighborhoods."

"I grow up in the neighborhood as a child, at that time Strawberry Mansion was a beautiful place to grow up,I moved away in the 80's came back bought a home in 2009 there's no community any more the people simply do not know anything about how to live in a community. People don't seem to understand what it is to keep your very own property clean.Nothing about their own civic duties this is one of the hardest places to live if your a conscious citizen."

"This neighborhood is not that great. A lot of noise from outside and ppl sit on your steps and smoke. They sit in front of your door until late night. Do not feel safe"
