"The house doesn’t look like this at all but it does look nice. The neighborhood was friendly and they have monthly street cleaning "
  • Anamarie M.
"Plenty places to walk dog. Dog will bark a lot because of outside noise. Be careful of glass when walking "
  • Aliesha424
"We have nothing literally nothing. Nothing at all we don't do anything as a community, nothing as neighbors we just do our own thing. "
  • C.B.
"I have been loved in the area almost 40 years. It used to be a neighborly when I was growing up. Things have changed it’s not so quiet anymore, motorbikes race through the neighborhood on nice days, people are loudly roaming the streets all night long. It is surprising how much is being charged for rent in this area, although it is very close to Temple."
  • Aliesha424
"Great access to public transportation. Couple stops away from downtown via subway and or bus. Little traffic in the area."
  • Z T.
"I hate this neighborhood. Warning: DON'T MOVE HERE!!! There is lots of litter, gun violence, kids fighting and robbing people, a kid with a gun. Never move here."

"I was born in Kensington my parents moved me out when I was seven there are alot of down to earth people there but crime is also very high low class people who dont have anything and also lots of druggies it's not safe gunshots and honestly I don't recommend anyone to live there "

"Nothing. Do not raise your kids here. The neighborhood is not safe. Ans the neighborhood children will corrupt your chils."
  • Katieshuman611
"This isn’t my favorite area to live. It’s actually quite honestly my least favorite. It’s dangerous, my car was broken into twice this far and I’ve only lived here for 11 months. It’s very loud, and if you’re a woman you cannot get a break from street harassment. there are drugs everywhere. "
  • Pedro D. L.
"There are good people around but there's no improvement with the neighborhood when it comes to crime and behavior"
  • Crisangel487@gmail.com

"My neighborhood is close to Temple University and it's bohemian culture yet conceited attitudes among the students."
  • Resident Gary
"The neighborhood is close to a lot of attractions like the Met, and the Liacourse center near Temple University, also the neighborhood is not far from the Fillmore by Delaware Ave. The neighborhood is 8min by subway to Center City, and Old City. And its about 2 miles from Fairmount Park. ,Dell East Music center, etc... "
  • Jmclaritymax
"This neighborhood is filled with children and adults still hang on majority of the corners. There aren’t many playgrounds for the little ones. It is conveniently located around public transportation & is an upcoming neighborhood due to Temple University. "
  • C
"One of few neighborhoods left with majority long-time residents, it builds a certain character. Good if you like to interact with your community."
  • Leah M.
