7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst experience for my child with special needs. Leadership and communication is what they need in this school. They need a specialize teacher that truly care about there students and emotions. There accommodations for students with IEPs are not as followed , leading to behaviors to escalate for a child. Principal is not a leader or a voice in this school, just complains and makes you and your child feel uncomfortable and discriminated. Took me a while to write this but I feel everyone should know if a child has an iep this school is not a fit and better off going with a different school.Parent Review7mo ago3 Reviews - Ps 24 Andrew Jackson

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has been steadily declining. Teachers are wallowing in constantly assessing the kids rather than teaching. The principal shows little interest in special education. In 13 years as principal she has visited the therapy room 3x. Excellent therapy room, but no supplies are given by the principal as she does not consider it a classroom. Thankfully, teachers donate their construction paper and gluesticks. Money is not spent on special education. The numbers of kids receiving OT/PT has declined. Kids that belong in D75( non verbal in diapers) linger in non appropriate placement.Other Review2mo ago18 Reviews - Ps 184 Flushing Manor
