"I would say that the building i live in is very nice. The people here are friendly and make you feel at home. I feel so safe to go outside with my infant without having to worry. "

"My neighborhood is the unique because I realize that I have neighbors and all carry each other families, futures, local schools, churches, and our average road bikes, walkways, bus terminal signs, food courts, your normal human being."

"Horrible surroundings, garbage smells on streets, yes restaurants and transportation are near and accessible but very crowded every time of the day, the air is so contaminated and there is a homeless on every corner."

"Great neighborhood for transportation! Lots of families and small businesses. Easy access to laundry facilities and grocery stores. Not the safest area after dark.."

"The crime is going up and so are rent prices. To many smoke shops and a lot of people smoking weed. Loud never ending parties in the summer with speakers blasting music well into the following morning. I’m trying to move out of this area and into a better one. "

"This neighborhood people are party until late at night to three or 4 o’clock. I call the police I campaign in 311. It is some work. No body care about in this neighborhood is very different from the other neighborhood."

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeautiful. I’m an alumni, I left the school in 2011 and it was an experience. I learnt so much about music and creativity that to this day I still carry with me. I am a recording artist and songwriter now. Architecturally it has changed but the fact that the music program is still alive is very comforting. Children need the artsOther Review7y ago4 Reviews - Ps 143 Louis Armstrong

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are satisfied with PS143. My sons receive a superb education here and I see a lot of progress with academics over the years. My niece is here too and my sister raves about the support from the teachers and even the principal who listens and makes things better and cares about us. I wish the after school program had more seats because I’m on the waitlist. I feel safe and my sons never want to miss a day of school because they love school. I wish it was a middle school too. Thank you Miss Jaquez too.Parent Review3y ago10 Reviews - Mt Olivet Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe best school. My son learned so much in one year. They give homework everyday, they teach them discipline, respect and most of all they treat them with love. My son prays before each meal, at night time, he learned beautiful songs and likes to sing as he plays. It is really a great school. I am so happy i found it.Parent Review12y ago3 Reviews
