"Long Island railroad is about 4blocks away with parking. Express bus to Manhattan is a few blocks away. Buses run about every 3 minutes to subway at rush hour, and you can also take a dollar van to the train station. JFK airport is about 10 minutes away. Valley Stream mall is about 5 minutes away, Close to shopping and restaurants, including many grocery stores. Minutes away from Long Island-Jones beach and Long beach and the Rockaways. Neighbors are friendly . We look out for each other and many have lived here for over 20 years. Many young families and mature families. Streets are clean. Everyone takes pride in keeping their place tidy and beautiful. Quiet neighborhood. One of the best primary schools. Great teachers. Close to library, fitness centers and park with track and field. "Certain blocks have block parties at various times of the year, especially in summer. It'll be a rotation of blocks so you'll see different streets participate. "

"The Long Island Rail Road is in walking distance, the surface line bus is only a few blocks away as well. However the bus to the NYC Train adds 1/2 an hour to your commute "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my opinion and my experience, this is a great school for your child. All staff are friendly and caring for your children and Principal Baptiste is the most friendly and coolest person. He knows every child and parents as well. I cannot wait for my second child to start at this school.Parent Review4mo ago8 Reviews - Ps 156 Laurelton

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMY experience at this school was terrible. The schools doesn't know how to take control of the students and that's why there is always a fighting going on in the building. Additionally the students are not learning effectively, in the school year of 2019-2020 the eighth grade has had over 4 math teacher so this is why they have been performing so poorly.Student Review6y ago9 Reviews - Tracy's Day Care Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTrack's daycare is just a mess but the staffs are good, the kids going to that daycare are really going there base on the relationship between them and the teachers, the woman that owns the daycare, Tracy, is so proud and so full of her self, she doesn't care about the kids, all she cares about is her money , she doesnt care if yout kids are in shool or not , she doesn't care about the kids or the parents but yet extracts money from parents and the government, a lot of other parents are complaining about her, that shool needs to be checked by New York authorities.Other Review11y ago2 Reviews
