"Easy access to the train and bus stops are close by as well. Traffic is bad in city and highways are in need of repairs "
  • Trulia User
"It’s a mix. Some of the dog owners are entitled idiots who don’t pick up after their dogs. There is a nice little dog park on front st."
  • Trulia User
"I live next to a dog park, it's easy to walk by the river. People love the idea of walking their dogs here. "
  • Kurt S. S.
"Douglas will love the open space for dog exercise mean in lots of areas to walk or run in this neighborhood with lots of other things to do"
  • Dustin H.
"Street parking is plentiful, so commuting is easy. There are also many bus options. My commute is less than 12 minutes to work "
  • Marykmclaughlin
"Plenty of places to walk dogs and plenty of trash cans available for owners to dispose of poop, still plenty of poop not picked up. There is a dog park at Water Street & Vine Street and many people walk their dogs at Race Street Pier. "

"My neighborhood has a great school system and is very access to public transportation in this city. Good community events that keep you will informed on what's going on."

"I've lived in the neighborhood for 7 years and the neighbors are all very friendly. We look out for one another and some of my neighbors feel like family. Great area to live/raise a family."

"You don't pay down town price for your home but you get all the benefits of walk-ability and community. Parking under 95 is great if you have people over but I don'y ever have to park there as I find parking up my street."

"When you spend time on Penn's Landing near Pier 3, you will be well aware that you are hanging out in the city, but you will also get a sense that you're tucked away. Columbus Blvd has the lion's share of Philly's scenic peace, but it also has plenty of night life. If your bases aren't covered, it's easy to hop up to Olde City to find anything you need or want. Penn's Landing has a tradition of great summer and fall festivals, plus the premier spot for the New Year's Eve Fireworks. New editions to the area include Race Street Park, a beautiful stretch of green underneath the Ben Franklin Bridge, and a soon-to-open art space and café across the street."
