4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA few great teachers like Mrs Christine and the Gym teacher Mr Wensel. The principal Ms Tooks is so unprofessional. She does not respond to emails.. She lies to parents and I disliked the school even more because of her lack of professionalism she really needs to go. Glad I got my three star kiddos out they absolutely deserved better. MPS need to do better with who they have in charge. Just unacceptable.Parent Review6mo ago - Cass Street School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from this high school a few years back and I honestly couldn’t think of a better fit for me. Students who excelled academically in elementary and middle school were sufficiently challenged through the IB program (note: RKHS does not utilize AP scores, so be weary of that when reviewing this website’s scores). Current and future students/families, especially those involved in the IB program, keep an eye out for burn-out and decreased mental health! The excessive load brought on by some IB courses can take a toll on the student if not handled properly. One of the most important lessons I learned here was to properly manage my time and reach out for help! The best teachers were adamant about challenging the students yet cared about the students’ success, reaching out when they saw someone struggling. Despite a large graduating class, my peers and I were part of a tight knit community. Everybody knew everybody and most were willing to help another out. However, this school was no exception when it came to fighting and other forms of violence, though it was often few and far between. Nevertheless, I am grateful to have attended this school, as I feel that it thoroughly prepared me for university.Other Review7mo ago - Maryland Avenue Montessori School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere’s a lot of violence and bullying in this school, as soon as you walk through those doors the kids are used to the disrespect because the principal and vice principal don’t do anything about it, they’re not apt for the job. No real solution to any problems . The teachers are great though.Parent Review1y ago - Milwaukee High School of the Arts

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe feel privileged that we have language immersion available to us as part of our public school system. MFIS is a gem of a school with faculty and parents that care deeply about their community. The teachers are dedicated and responsive. The staff is incredibly helpful. The PTA is very active.
