The principal is weak. She allows the students to run the school. She would rather have students fighting and being disrespectful to adults than suspend.

Amazing school, the teachers are awesome, my son loves it here. Ms Loss is very understanding and cooperative. Even during pandemic, they provided with enough materials to work from home. Reccommend it especially for younger kids. My son was in K4 and he was bullied by a boy in the class and the teache couldn't do much about it so then we complained to ms Loss and we got his class changed. After that my son absolutely loves it here.

Awful and will never go back another year.

In my personal opinion as a student who goes to Messmer High School, And started going here around my freshman year which was when the pandemic started. The virtual school was more coordinated then the In- person learning and had a better balance at the work that had been assigned to students for my experience. There's overwhelming amounts of work at high expectations assigned in short periods of times that leaves students drained, exhausted, and unmotivated. Furthermore the teachers are okay, It just depends on who you have and if there understanding enough to adapt to what works best for you to learn better as a student but if not your most likely to fail that class. In my experience, the emotional support here is alright but it could always improve the guidance counselors are nice and the overall staff members are neutral at being supportive. They offer lots of courses and chances to earn extra credits and credits you missed if you take the opportunity to take it serious which I find great because it gives students like myself an advantage. However, Messmer is not for everyone. And if you feel like you just want to get through school without high expectation put on you and they're quick to inform your parents of anything you do or something that happens in the school, I would definitely consider another school for you if you can't handle that.

Although the 53206 zip code is one of the worst in the nation, Siloah stands out as a hidden gem or a beacon of light. They welcome students gladly and enjoy engaging with parents and guardians so that the students have the best experience possible and the best education journey. I easily see why parents who don't live in 53206 drive their children to this school. Siloah is a great place to be!

very disappointed with how this school has changed since the Bauers took over. My kids have been here since kindergarten, but the environment is no longer supportive. Children are treated more like robots then kids, and stuff often speak to them in harsh, punitive way. in 3rd grade, my child was told by the dean, "if you don't want to be here, find a different school". After one emotional day where she was crying, the situation escalated quickly-from being since home, to suspended, and then expelled the same day, partly due to attendance. there was no compassion or effort to work with our family. instead of helping children succeed, it feels like they push them out after receiving the student funding. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL.

My children have attened Hope Christian School: Fortis since 2015. We moved back to Milwaukee from Texas, where they take great pride in education. I just simply refused to let my kids get a half basic education. I wanted them to attend a school where they are given challenges everyday. I want them to know what it feels like to work for and earn your education. Also they are taught religion which is something schools need to do. Also they make sure parents stay involved. They give you their direct numbers and the app Class Dojo helps as well. I can view pics to see what the kids are up to and send messages as well. What we dont realize is and i have heard this before.....Public School teachers dont even send their children to public school......hmm something to think about. So they are good enough to teach our kids but their kids are better than a public school education.....well mine too. Thats all the more reason why i chose Hope......Keep up the great work Hope Christian Schools..
