NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen we think of LMS, we think of diversity, equity, and inclusion; exploring nature and learning about farming and how to treatour Earth sustainably; practicing Montessori values; and building and contributing to community. LMS’s values are exactly thevalues we strive to live as a family and to teach our children. As a mixed race family, we care deeply about racial equity anddiversity. Both in our personal and professional Iives, we have focused on investing in social impact and sustainability. As childrenof immigrants, we value the Montessori approach that allows children to explore their world on their own terms, learn what mattersto them, and develop into empathetic and emotionally regulated adults. (Which is the opposite of how we grew up!) We’ve had theprivilege of seeing these values come to life through our oldest daughter and her time at LMS. It warms our hearts to hearher telling us about what insects and birds she saw on her nature hike or that some families have two moms or two dads. Now,more than ever, learning to care and respect each other, no matter your background and where you come from, and taking care ofour planet, seems both foundational and revolutionary at the same time. We have been incredibly proud to be members of theLMS community over this past year in particular and to see the school double down, not shy away from its commitment todiversity, equity, and community.Parent Review3mo ago27 Reviews - Atrium School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAtrium is a gem. The faculty are exceptional. They truly care about the students. The community is nurturing, academically challenging, and value-driven. Our family couldn't be happier with our experience with the school and its head.Other Review2mo ago14 Reviews - St Agnes School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFayerweather has been an engaging, exciting, challenging experience for our kids, giving them a strong sense of ownership and agency over their own educations. We see in them the self-awareness to work effectively in teams and connect with others (even or especially those that don't think or identify as they do!) - and that's a direct result of the focus on social and emotional development in the classroom and more broadly in the school. They're curious to root out patterns and systems that impact our world and the people in it, because they've been exposed to Fayerweather's rich curriculum and the critical thinking lens the teachers apply to it.Now situated in a competitive and academically challenging high school, our older child is academically ambitious, eager to partner with peers and teachers, and comfortable in their own skin. Our younger child is making the most of their last years at Fayerweather, finding voice and collaboration through creative ventures like the Unit Play, and digging into complex curricula like Shakespeare's Macbeth, Orwell's Animal Farm, and an interdisciplinary study of the history and science of regional cuisines. We're grateful we chose Fayerweather and are excited to see where this learning foundation takes our kids next!Parent Review7mo ago29 Reviews
