"I’ve lived in Watertown for four years on and off. I absolutely love it! The neighborhood is clean, friendly, and safe. Lots of hidden gems in the neighborhood for restaurants. The biking trail is perfect for my dogs. Watertown will always have a special place in my heart."

"Love the feel of the neighborhood. Close to Boston. Also close to plenty of stores and restaurants and shops, but far enough away from downtown to still have a neighborhood feel. very safe feel. definitely love all of the older homes"

"Used to live in Watertown. Just so convenient to everything. Easy to get to Boston - minutes away. Good buses. Some really nice restaurants and nightspots, if you want to stay local."

"This side of Main Street is very close to an industrial area on the river (2 blocks away) with several empty old warehouses. A revitalization started several years ago but the economy put an end to it and there are a few condo complexes unfinished or partially empty. Watertown school system is not as good as neighboring Newton, Belmont or Cambridge. Overnight parking ban November through April creates a serious season issue. Much of Watertown doesn't have curbs or sidewalk and many older residents paved their front yards which takes away from curb appeal. Professional couples w/out kids and 30 somethings are a growing percent of the population but there's very limited entertainment options. Wal-mart may be coming to 180 Arsenal St. area"
