"Festivals and academic events are happening all the time. Unfortunately it’s completely unaffordable if you want to buy a place here though. "

"The confluence of being an attractive residential area but one in which you can walk within a few minutes to interesting stores, to music, the theater and excellent book stores."

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family had an incredibly positive experience at Cambridge Friends School, and we are deeply grateful for the foundation it provided our child. The school’s commitment to academic excellence and its core Quaker values—Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship—created an environment where our child thrived both academically and personally. The emphasis on Integrity and Equality fostered a deep sense of respect and responsibility in our child, while the focus on Community ensured that they always felt supported and valued. The school's dedication to Peace encouraged thoughtful problem-solving and strong interpersonal skills, which have been invaluable throughout their educational journey. Additionally, the principles of Simplicity and Stewardship helped nurture a thoughtful and mindful approach to learning and personal growth. Thanks to the strong academic and ethical foundation built at CFS, our child not only excelled in high school but was also accepted into their first-choice college. The critical thinking skills, confidence, and lifelong love of learning cultivated at CFS played a crucial role in this success. We wholeheartedly recommend Cambridge Friends School to any family seeking an education rooted in strong values, academic rigor, and a true sense of purpose. CFS is a remarkable community that nurtures and inspires students to reach their full potential while making a meaningful impact on the world around them.Parent Review1y ago23 Reviews - Cambridge Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur two children loved their many years at Cambridge Montessori School. At each stage, they were excited every day to go to school, and their days were full of music, art, sports, academics and fun. I had no experience with Montessori methods or materials before our children went to this school, and now I wish more people had this opportunity. Our children learned math skills with deep understanding that began early on with simple and straightforward concepts that were presented with real hands-on materials and moved to different levels of abstraction in a way that really made sense to them. Our children developed confidence and a true love of learning. What more could we ask for them? All around them, they were surrounded by adults who were kind, creative, and loving. Now they are in very rigorous and competitive middle schools and high schools and they are both so well-prepared and confident. Their classmates came from all over the Boston area and all over the world.Parent Review3y ago21 Reviews
