10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAn amazing amalgam of a small neighborhood school and a globally oriented, French dual language program. We love our principal and teachers, the way families are honored and involved, and how eager our child is to go to school!Parent Review1mo ago24 Reviews - Waverly School, The

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWaverly provides a wonderful and supportive environment for learning. It truly is "progressive" education. As kids mature though each grade, they return to subject matter, delving more deeply into each topic to facilitate a depth of understanding and a life long love for learning. The school itself is wonderfully diverse (in all ways!) and respectful. The Head of School is inspiring, compassionate and committed, and his leadership has had a profoundly positive impact on the students, teachers and Waverly's wider community. The Farm is a fantastic part of the school, giving kids an amazing and vital greenspace in which to learn and play. The teachers and staff share a passion for the school and its approach to education and this is evident in everything from the ways they come to truly "know" each student to the detailed narrative reports created each semester. We love Waverly and our kids are very happy at the school.Parent Review8mo ago13 Reviews - Oneonta Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at this center was extremely concerning. My two-year-old was not properly supervised and fell from the monkey bars, which should never happen at that age without close monitoring. Safety should always be the top priority.I was also disappointed to learn that food is not heated for children, and parents are told not to expect staff to “go out of their way.” Basic care and consideration should not feel like an inconvenience.Additionally, the director’s approach to discipline felt inappropriate and unprofessional, including what appeared to be raised-voice “scream contests” rather than calm conflict resolution. As a parent participating through a government-funded program, I felt there was a noticeable difference in how I was treated. Every family, regardless of funding source, deserves respect, professionalism, and proper care for their children.Parent Review2mo ago19 Reviews - St. Ignatius Of Loyola Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis Catholic school provides an exceptional learning environment rooted in strong faith, values, and academic excellence. The teachers are dedicated, compassionate, and truly invested in each student’s growth—academically, spiritually, and personally. The sense of community is welcoming and supportive, making families feel like true partners in their child’s education. The emphasis on character, service, and respect helps students develop a strong moral foundation while still being challenged to succeed. We are grateful to be part of such a nurturing and faith-filled school.”Parent Review3mo ago11 Reviews - All Souls Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll Souls World Language Catholic School has been an incredible blessing for our family. From day one, the staff made my daughter feel welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. The teachers genuinely care about the students, not just academically, but emotionally and socially as well. One thing that really sets this school apart is the language immersion program. My daughter comes home speaking Spanish with confidence, and it amazes us how quickly she’s picking it up. The curriculum is strong, the environment is safe, and the communication from the school is excellent.Parent Review4mo ago2 Reviews - LITTLE ACORN MONTESSORI ACADEMY
