  • Trulia User
"We know all our neighbors and we watch out for each other. We help each other out with chores such as home and automotive maintenance. We also share with each other, be it a beer, cocktail together, cup of sugar, or a meal. I feel very comfortable with my neighbors and feel very fortunate to have such great neighbors."
  • H. E. Y.
"It’s a great place to live, generally quiet and safe. You’ve got to learn to live with and appreciate the lovely fog. Off-street parking can be heinous though."
  • Xtroverttwins
"It’s a safe and friendly neighborhood. Family oriented. However parking is very limited. High school is walking distance. "
  • Cherry L.
"It is a safe area to live in and all food and stores are convenient...................................."

"Private vehicle with easy access to I280.!You don't want to rent from Westlake Village Apartments, real slimlords!"
  • Janine S. T.
"Not a good area for families, heavy traffic, very busy streets with cars that dont like to stop and speed down the street.Noisey parking lot and No parking because of shopping center u can wait up to an hour+ for a parking spot."
  • Jgsf1987
"Lived here for almost 4 years. It’s been an amazing experience for all this time. It’s conveniently close to San Francisco."
  • Vzarich
"Great central location. Quiet stable neighborhood. Neighbors that know each other and look out for each other."
  • Desertbee13
"I've lived here almost 1 year and I hate it! Overpriced, to say the least! No good grocery stores. The Safeway smells like rotten meat and there's mold in the refrigerator areas. Daly City smells like sewage almost every day. People are rude. There's very little/no parking and they give tickets for everything possible. They even give tickets for not curbing your wheels in areas where there is barely a grade, like basically flat! Do not move here!"
  • Emaadarlo
"I lived in this neighborhood for 30 years and still loving it. Transportation is very convenient, only 12 miles to downtown SF, 15 minutes to SFO. 10 minutes to the Cliff House & Golden Gate Park. "
  • Erin
"This area of Daly City is particularly wonderful...PLUS, the City is very well managed-with great city services including, street maintenance and repair...NO potholes as found just over the City/County line in San Francisco...Waiting for it to be rediscovered as a model mid-century planned community with continued excellent walkability, access to great public transportation including BART, and loads of nearby shopping.."
