What Locals Say about Anza Vista

  • Trulia User
"It’s a pretty Safe neighborhood. You occasionally hear about car break ins and stolen catalytic converters being stolen. "
  • John O.
"Living in Anza Vista is like living in the suburbs yet you are actually in the center of the City. Quiet, safe, and lots of parking! "
  • John O.
"Like living in the suburbs but you actually live right in the middle of the City! Quiet, parking galore, safe. Close to Target, Trader Joe’s, and GG Park!"
  • "It's not great. There is no easy access to the train, so I need to take a bus, and then walk for 15 minutes."
  • Shsh
"Lovely views. The upper part of Anya Vista is pretty ugly but the parts that are older are excellent"
  • Kellyj
"I lived in this neighborhood for the first year I lived in the Bay Area and I really liked it. It is fairly quiet, despite Divisidero's heavy traffic. It was clean, usually sunny (although on the fog line so some days in the summer were foggy), it had pretty good walkability and a good number of restaurants and stores within a short walk, and it was easily accessible by public transportation. It sits next to a not so great neighborhood (Western Addition), which is only a few blocks east, but unless you venture down that direction you wouldn't even know!"
  • "This area is in the middle of everything in San Francisco, nearly the geographic center. Walk to the Haight, NOPA, Fillmore, Laurel Village, with public transit in every direction. An especially quiet, lovely block, with good neighbors and an active neighborhood association."
  • "This is a very walkable up and coming area, with easy driving, MUNI access, and on new Google bus routes. "
  • "Very Quiet, Friendly and Safe"
