"I grew up here then moved away for 15 years only to come back for the values of the community, a great place for inclusion and to build a family. Spokane has 4 distinct beautiful seasons. The area we live in is super friendly as are most neighborhoods and we know and are friends with most of our neighbors. People look out for their neighbors here. "

"Relatively calm and quiet, most neighbors keep to them selves, in the center of town just outside downtown"

"I think they would like the quiet, peacefulness, walkable and plenty of parks. Even a large remote, maintained Centennial Trail. "

"Most of the neighbors have become friends and have gatherings often. Everyone is friendly, saying hello if they see another neighbor out doing yard work or just taking a stroll. "

"A very walker friendly area that is well lit at night. Monroe has just been renovated nearby & improved flow of traffic provides ease of access into & out of the area"

"Its 100+ year history as one of Spokane's best neighborhoods (and for good reason.) A top drawer quality place to live. Peaceful, family orientated, long term caring neighbors, charming homes.. all surrounding a huge lovely park. Its handy to everything!."

"I love this part of town. People are friendly but also keep to themselves for the most part. Quiet at night. Not too much traffic. Grocery and convenience stores all close as well as plenty of restaurants and antique stores."

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey fired the principal who everyone loved suddenly, without any discussion with the parents, then the pastor left, and the vice principal left. Also they took advantage of us during the coronavirus by continuing to charge parents, plus getting money from the government. Our child was only there for 2 months but we ended up paying for 10 months plus mandatory donations. It is so sad, we had such high hopes for this school but it just cost us a lot of money. Some weird politics are going on and communications are not good. Watch out.Parent Review5y ago3 Reviews - Spokane Public Montessori

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs someone who attended this school for 7 years, I can say that if you want your child to grow up to be a self sufficient and independent teenager/adult, this school is great. This school shaped the person I am today and I firmly believe that if I had gone to a different school I would not have been as successful as I am. One of My main criticism for this is school is the ratio of students to teacher (30-1 in my experience) because at times is definitely limited how much individual attention and aid you could get from your teachers. I guess you could also see the positives in that as it can teach you to use critical thinking and solve your own issues, but it can be challenging if you are not that kind of person. While at times I did not love attending this school, I think in the long run it really will help your child become a self motivated and open minded person.Other Review2y ago3 Reviews - Enlightium Academy
