"We have concerts in the park when the Bemiss Neighborhood Council puts them on. In the past we have had street fairs too."

"I drive to another state. The Centennial Trail is a good bike to work option for those who work closer to home. "

"It is an area that has problems with crime, but it is slowly renewing the old buildings and investing in itsself for the future communities."

"Has a nice park but a lot of crime happens in this area. But nothing violent usually. Very nice area otherwise! "

"I very rarely use public transportation, I feel Spokane public transportation needs some work still, improving times and routes and frequency. "

"People have dogs, but they mostly seem like they are for protection as well as being pets. Not seem being mistreated but they are mostly big dogs."

"it's a super great place for kids to play, ride bikes and just be kids in! I'm a super picky mom (momcopter) and I fee as if I can sit in my house while the children play safely on the block. Without me being outside like a crazy man lol."

"I've lived here for 5 years. It reasonably well located away from downtown and the U District, but close enough everything is only a few minutes away. Easily within walking distance of several restaurants. Neighbors have always been friendly."

"I love my block but around here it is hit or miss. Lots of kids because of high school 3 blocks away. Safe area, but again hit or miss on cleanliness depending on which block you live on. I love my neighbors. "

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLet me start off by saying we absolutely loved this school when our kid first started going. Their teacher was AMAZING, kind, outgoing, everything you want in a teacher. Fast forward, their new teacher seems to always have an attitude (kid still loves them) but not a parents ideal teacher, teacher seems to favorite students, etc. Now here is where the real problems start. When I was walking into the building to get my child I witnessed a teach grabbed two students by the arm extremely hard and YANK them towards her all while she was yelling at them about not listening to her. That is NOT okay by any means. Not one person in the office bat an eye which was a red flag to me. Now I have questions, what is going on at this school that we don't know about? Next, there was an altercation between my child and another that was was not communicated properly over the phone. When I got there the story was very different. My kid had done NOTHING to this child and yet this kid HIT mine multiple times. When I asked about the consequences one of the front office ladies tried to downplay what happened. She tried to get this other kid out of any trouble just because of the size difference. NOTHING gives a child the right to hit another regardless of size, gender, etc. I just can't believe what these schools have come to. It's a shame we can't depend on these people to take good care of our children. Bemiss DO BETTER.Parent Review2mo ago4 Reviews - Regal Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an Amazing school. My daughter loves her school and her teacher and she has been learning so much. I love how many different things they have to offer for the children to do. We just went to a dinner at the school with my daughter and had so many fun activities to do. My daughter is always coming home with a new flyer of different things they offer or different prizes she has earned. Mrs. Ward is an amazing Kindergarten teacher we Love her.Parent Review5mo ago4 Reviews - Faith Baptist Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son when there for many years. Graduated and went on to get a Masters at a great East Coast college. He has a great walk with God, a great moral center and a great job. The teachers and staff did a great job working with him and molding him into a fine young man.Parent Review7y ago5 Reviews
