Read what parents are saying about Regal Elementary SchoolMy children are new to this school. My son was targeted by some kids who didn't make him feel welcome. After contacting staff, they were able to eliminate any possible bullying. Now about my daughter, I approached her teacher several times to explain her intellect. The first time I felt ignored and the second time. The teacher was very defensive because I continued to approach her. I simply wanted to share with her my daughters prior experiences and achievements in past classes and other teachers. I was disappointed by the teachers reactions toward my concerns for my daughter. Regal does not have compassion or motivation to work with intelligent children, this is true! I am considering changing teachers or possibly the school.
Posted by a parent on 9/26/2013This school is only good when your student is great. if your student is not so great, then be prepared to fight. my son is working at a higher grade level, but they dont care. he is super intelligent and the teachers dont like that. He gets treated like a trouble maker.
Posted by a parent on 6/5/2013I have a 3rd and 6th grader that attend Regal. We were thinking about moving before our kids were school age but we are happy that e didn't. Regal has been a blessing to our kids and our whole family. We have been so impressed with all of the teachers and the staff. Our kids are excelling in school and enjoying it so much. I hear talk of Bullying at other schools but have not seen or heard of any of it at Regal. I spend time volunteering at the school as I feel it is important for our kids to feel supported and I have a job that allows me to be able to help. The teachers and staff are exceptional and really care about the kids!!!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a disgrace and needs a new principal no kids should be in trouble for them getting bullied! My son has suffered at this school and I had to pull him out numerous times because bullying and disapline is not dealt with properly! This school allows bullying and threats and the kid that’s doing all this gets to stay in school and have a education and my son is now finishing his last year at this school at home because I’m sick of nothing being done. Threats and bullying should have punishment that doesn’t get brushed under the rug these kids should have consequences or they will think they can get away with anything. I have had so so many issues at this school I’m beyond disgusted. I hope and pray for my kids future and hope they get new staff soon.Parent Review2y ago - Bemiss

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been bullied for over a year at this school. Multiple times in 2023 a student has bullied my son and even threatened him with a pair of scissor to his head. This school has done nothing to make the classroom a safe space for my son. The principal will smooth talk you into believing they will take care of the problem but they won't even remove the other child from the same class room. We are contacting the superintendent and school bord and removing my son from the schoolParent Review11mo ago - Logan Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible. Rude teachers with tenure who cant control classrooms. A disgusting principal who calls children tattle tales and tried to explain the difference between reporting and tattling while also explaining that children are at fault when they get bullied. How can you report misconduct when you are called a tattletale. He has created a crooked system where he can subjectively determine who is worthy of being treated with dignity and respect.Parent Review5y ago - Whitman Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is room for growth, parent engagement is lacking yet the are efforts in place. Students are recognized for positive behavior and positive reinforcement strategies being utilized. Parents/ guardians need to step up and participate more.Parent Review4y ago
