Cooper Elementary School

This school is a disgrace and needs a new principal no kids should be in trouble for them getting bullied! My son has suffered at this school and I had to pull him out numerous times because bullying and disapline is not dealt with properly! This school allows bullying and threats and the kid that’s doing all this gets to stay in school and have a education and my son is now finishing his last year at this school at home because I’m sick of nothing being done. Threats and bullying should have punishment that doesn’t get brushed under the rug these kids should have consequences or they will think they can get away with anything. I have had so so many issues at this school I’m beyond disgusted. I hope and pray for my kids future and hope they get new staff soon.

every one that works here or went to Bemiss are very nice. when I went to Bemiss everyone treated me with kindness, and respect. I wish I could go back and relive everything. I love Bemiss elementary

Really liked this school for my son for Pre-K. Excellent teachers and staff. The only problem is parking.

This is an Amazing school. My daughter loves her school and her teacher and she has been learning so much. I love how many different things they have to offer for the children to do. We just went to a dinner at the school with my daughter and had so many fun activities to do. My daughter is always coming home with a new flyer of different things they offer or different prizes she has earned. Mrs. Ward is an amazing Kindergarten teacher we Love her.

Terrible. Rude teachers with tenure who cant control classrooms. A disgusting principal who calls children tattle tales and tried to explain the difference between reporting and tattling while also explaining that children are at fault when they get bullied. How can you report misconduct when you are called a tattletale. He has created a crooked system where he can subjectively determine who is worthy of being treated with dignity and respect.

There is room for growth, parent engagement is lacking yet the are efforts in place. Students are recognized for positive behavior and positive reinforcement strategies being utilized. Parents/ guardians need to step up and participate more.

My son when there for many years. Graduated and went on to get a Masters at a great East Coast college. He has a great walk with God, a great moral center and a great job. The teachers and staff did a great job working with him and molding him into a fine young man.
