Johnsons Station

I just pulled out my child from this “ school” and was appalled at lack of transparency . All I can say is if you have high standards or expectations for your children, do NOT choose Short! My child was bullied and given below grade level work. They were rated F last year and now a “C”. As a parent, I rate them a “F minus “. The name “SHORT” describes exactly how far from expectations this school is!! Zero stars!!

I am happy to recommend South Davis Elementary based on my family’s wonderful experience with the school over the years.My oldest son attended South Davis Elementary from Kindergarten all the way through 6th grade. My middle son has attended South Davis since Pre-K and is now entering 4th grade. Having children at the school for so many years has allowed me to truly get to know the staff and the school community.One of the things I appreciate most is the office staff. They have always been kind, welcoming, and helpful, and they know both me and my children by name. They consistently make families feel valued and supported.I also feel that South Davis is a safe environment where students can learn and grow. As a parent, knowing my children are in a school where I feel comfortable leaving them each day gives me peace of mind.Principal Mrs. Kelly has done a wonderful job leading the school. She is caring, professional, and dedicated to the students and families. While I haven’t always agreed with every member of the administration, my overall experience with South Davis Elementary has been overwhelmingly positive.I would absolutely recommend South Davis Elementary to other families looking for a caring, safe, and welcoming school for their children. My family has been proud to be part of the South Davis community, and I am grateful for the positive experiences my children have had there.
