Posted by a parent on 10/20/2021We have our 4th grader in this school and so far we can rate the school and teachers with an excellent grade. They also managed to succeed during pandemic harsh times and this tells us how dedicated and carrying these people are. I highly recommend this school if you are moving to this area.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were having way too many issues with the school and my daughter’s behaviors were getting worse. An Assistant grabbed my autistic child’s arm one day and then my final straw was someone from the school told my husband we should start spanking her. I had to report the school to the TEA and the principal's first suggestion, at my child’s ARD Meeting, was to transfer my daughter to a new school, not what they could do to remedy it. They clearly wanted to get rid of my child and not help her. When I asked my daughter why she was being bad, her reason was, “I’m a bad kid”, so the teachers and assistants were telling my 6 year old, autistic child that she was a bad kid. After discussing with family and my daughter’s School Advocate/Social Worker, we decided to pull her from the school and homeschool her. The social worker even said it sounds like a Civil Liberties issue with the school.
