"It's near the Highlands, which has a lot of shopping. It also has nearby parks. I've lived here most of my life and I love Arlington very close to the Cowboys and Rangers stadiums."

"The neighborhood is loud. People speed through and it seems like nobody has a muffler on their car. People seem rather inconsiderate about keeping the noise down in the morning and don’t even consider the time when honking their horns."

"Arlington, has come a long way and still continues to improve. Overall being directly in the center of two great cities, gives you the best of both worlds."

"There is many parks and sidewalks around to walk our dogs, friendly neighborhood, but there should be signs on more popular parks for people who don't pick ip after their dogs."

"Easy access to 360 and 20. My commute is 22 mins without traffic. Only bad part is mayfield turnaround they should do something about that. Other than that its cool."

"We have been here for over 2 years and it is very quiet! I check the next door app a few times a week and there is hardly ever anything on there about crime. "

"This neighborhood has definitely gotten worse. There is a lot of theft, robberies and shootings. Neighborhood “kids” hang out all times unsupervised. Definitely not a “good neighborhood” anymore. There are so many vacancies everyone is trying to get out. Too many low income families reside here now"

"With the current construction surrounding 360, it is difficult for anyone to get out of Arlington early in the morning. I work in town so it isn’t too bad."

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended Pre-K 4 2025 August 13th and August 14th when I went to pick him up on August 14th at 3:30 p.m. I was unable to find anyone that could point me to where he would be released at after meeting with the officer on school property I was notified by another parent that my 4-year-old was wandering down the street four blocks over. I ran to Big Street which is one block over and sure enough three blocks down was my 4-year-old wandering crying, scared and disorientated. I picked him up and ran back to the school where I was informed by the principal that their policy is to release any student that is a walker and have them escorted by a teacher one block down and released regardless if they are 3 years old, 4 years old, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and so on. I'm now attempting to file a police report and I have submitted a grievance to the school directly. This is absolutely true and I'm in disbelief with the principal's attitude that somehow it was our fault because we didn't have a car to pick him up in. So he was labeled as a walker. Not once was the principal concerned with the fact that they had a 4-year-old. My 4-year-old lost almost five blocks down where he could have been abducted by a predator attacked by a stray dog or hit by trafficParent Review9mo ago6 Reviews - Crow Elementary School

Parent Review11mo ago9 Reviews - Foster Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Daugther recently was drop off at the normal time and one of the older kids pulled my Daughter’s hair she let one of principles know and her respond is tell your mother not to drop you off so early. What kind of responds is that to give a child you have to be an active parent but most of the teachers are so kindParent Review4y ago9 Reviews - Goodman Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers don’t send home homework even when they see the children are struggling with something. My child was cursed out by her teacher and when I spoke with her about it she informed me that the word she used was not a curse word….definitely don’t recommend this school for ANYONE. The teachers don’t reach out about anything at all so good luck on knowing what your child is learning / working onParent Review5mo ago5 Reviews
