"Great terrain and scenery. Plenty of parks and pet parks to choose from. Neighbors are very friendly and there are lots of pets within the area. "

"My partner and I have lived in Sheridan North for 17 years. We have watched the kids who once played up and down the street grow up and move out; but otherwise not much has changed. It's a quiet little haven in the middle of bustling North Arlington with families, people walking dogs, pool parties, and all the throw-backs to a simpler time."

"We have lived in this neighborhood for several years. It is very quiet, and we actually get a lot if wildflife in our backyard which we love. All of the neighbors take excellent care of their homes and yards as well, and it is in close proximity to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and the Arlington entertainment district (Rangers, Cowboys, Six Flags, etc)."

"Work from home, but car for everything else. Arlington has No public transportation and I’m glad we don’t. Traffic is terrible in game days, but not bad otherwise "

"Too much traffic & sidewalks have a lot of debris. Keep your dog on a leash because there are huge, mean other dogs out"

"The houses on our street are nicer, many have their own gates. It’s quite a private area and is lush with greenery. It is also very safe, close to I-30 and is great location that has access to everything in the DFW area within about 30 minutes."

"This location is amazing for commuting to Butler Elementary, Shackelford Middle School, and Lamar High School! Some kids will get dropped off/picked up from school, others will walk home. "

"The only thing I can think of is that not all dog owners pick up after their pets. But overall there’s a lot of trails around here that people use with their dogs."

"I have a quick commute to work. But for those using I-30, you should leave before 7am if you are commuting east or north. Traffic can get backed up after 7am. "

"There are no buses for your kids to get to school even if you live off 360. Make sure that you have before and after school ready if you can’t pick your kids up from school "

"Going anywhere is a hassle, because traffic is usually very busy. Hwy 360 is being worked on, so many exits are closed and I-30 is always backed up. Going anywhere on Collins takes a while because it’s so busy. "

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageButler is a place that instills both educational and personal excellence in our children. My child has seen improvement year after year with benchmark scores well higher than students their age across the nation. My student from day one took the Butler way to heart, “do the right thing, even when no one is watching.” This incredible Butler staff is engaging, encouraging, and our facility is top in the district. We are fortunate to have an active group of parents within the PTA and Dad’s Club that cohesively works on supporting the student and staff experience. This is our home and happy place where a warm welcome as you walk through the doors is guaranteed! Decisions we make as parents are hard, but let me help you with this one, choose Arlington Independent School District and choose Butler Elementary!Parent Review8mo ago22 Reviews - Sherrod Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis will be my third year at Ellis, but it is my 16th year as an educator. I have never worked with a better group of admin, teachers, and support staff. Our faculty truly is a family. Our community is a little rough and we are title 1 status. We have very many young parents and most are doing the best they can. We love our kids, their parents, and we offer support outside the classroom in a variety of ways.Teacher Review3y ago10 Reviews - Primrose School Of N E Green Oaks

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is amazing, especially if you’re able to support your child’s learning at home. There are quite a few assignments, but they’re meaningful and really help in the long run. My child enjoys going to school and has always liked studying, so the workload has been manageable for us. That said, it could feel a bit challenging at times depending on your child’s learning style. Overall, it’s a great school with strong programs.Parent Review10mo ago19 Reviews - Peach Elementary School
