"Neighbors are friendly. Cookouts and smaller block parties are great things to do and have when it is spring, fall and cooler summer days. Having kids is great but pay for private schools. "

"A stray dog might eat their dog. None of the neighborhood dogs are friendly it’s almost pretty sad. Imagine your walking your companion and someone with their wildest untamed beast comes to eat your baby. That’s the neighborhood "

"There aren't any. In comparison to gentrified or rezoned area's of the city, Philadelphia has failed at it's committment to making this community, which has excellent potential, a community that can see its fullest potential. "

"It has a distinct location between multiple public transportation routes, it's not far from the airport or 30th st. station. It's about a 10 minute ride to old city and a 20 minute ride to downtown Philadelphia. The houses in some parts are a nice size for a small family and it's a good area if your contemplating buying investment real estate for extra residual income considering that the property values are still quite reasonable in comparison to the rest of the city. However, the crime rates haven't dropped in the area in comparison to some of the newly renovated areas of the city."

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can't say enough positive things about my family's experience with this school. Our three daughters have been at PMCS through its various stages, including a period of transition a few years ago. I'm happy to say the last couple years have been truly amazing, with such talented, dedicated and creative administration and teachers and staff who pay close attention to every student, valuing each as an individual and expecting every child to succeed. Even during the rough period our kids had extraordinary teachers -- couldn't have asked for better. Every time parents around us gripe about their school I feel grateful that my kids have landed in such a caring and positive place.Parent Review11y ago6 Reviews - Catharine Joseph School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school from Kindergarten to 4th grade. By far the best school in Philadelphia. I enjoyed coming to school everyday and was very grateful of the staff at the school because they definitely made school fun to attend. I also substituted for the secretary and it was kind blowing to be there and to interact with people that was working there while I attended.Other Review1y ago3 Reviews - Mount Sinai Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an excellent school. The kindergarten children are reading well and learning to write in cursive. The students are well behaved and work in a lloving and calm learning environment. This is due their Abeka curriculum and excellent teachers and staff.Teacher Review15y ago2 Reviews - Greater Hope Christian Academy
