"Nice maintained flat and hilled sidewalks. No trash laying around and lots of places to sniff / stop. You cannot let your dog off leash at the local parks. There is not a dog park in the neighborhood (yet). "
  • Ncarugno
"Tons of families and kids playing. It’s a great little area. There’s an abundance of playgrounds and stores within walking distance. "
  • Joseph A Piner Jr
"I’ve lived in Glenolden for 5 years. It’s a nice little town. A great mixture of all cultures but sadly it’s missing some cultural foods. I have great neighbors and the schools have really good programs for the kids to get into. My rating for this area is a solid 7, which is good."
  • Jony.raymundo
"Great area. Very quiet and the neighbors are also very polite and nice for the most part. I’ve lived here for over 3 years and it is one of the better places that I have stayed at. There are police also patrolling at night to ensure people are speeding or doing other egregious things."
  • Jony.raymundo

"I've lived here for almost a year, and my neighbors are friendly and keep up with their properties. Only down fall is major roadway is closed so my street is the detour street with heavy traffic. which stinks "
  • Tlenahan p.
"Very tight knit community , mostly mix of retired couples or young couples with young children. Many children playing , ha sconmunity sense and feel. Great distance to shops and restaurants. Has neighborhood restaurant and deli "
  • Barbara
"I've lived here since August.. Traffic is crazy and lots of stop signs , but neighborhood has been nice "
  • Avianna
"Glenolden is a great place to live. Its peaceful, quiet and the perfect place for kids. It's very safe spacious and pet-friendly. If your looking for an area that is the opposite of a loud crazy city come to Glenolden. Like most neighborhoods Glenolden is not perfect. If you don't drive walking or transportation is difficult. Unlike the city it is spaced out so a pizza shop might me 7 blocks away. Unless you are willing to walk that far you won't be able to get it. Its transportation is ok. Not quick but not slow. There is very few bus stops or transportation. Overall I give Glenoleden 99.9 % almost perfect!"
