"There aren’t many places (dog parks) where you can let your dog off leash. If your dog poops on the sidewalk, and you pick it up in a plastic bag, you then have to go find a trash can to throw it away or carry it with you the whole time. There aren’t many trash cans throughout the street."

"On occasion I see people walking dogs but when I do walk hey are rarely in a leash. Which I personally find irresponsible and dangerous. There is also lots of trash and broken glass or metal objects on the ground so it’s a worry walking a dog outside. "

"there isn't any, except for a few block parties! I feel like it is a pretty safe street not a lot of children, or drugs because the neighbor hood looks out for each other! "

"I have two dogs, and I have a hard time walking them both because there is so much trash on the sidewalks. It is shocking how many chicken wing bones we come across every time we go outside. "

"Very good actually the streets in Philly are bad like pot holes everywhere but other than that I’d say the commute is pretty sweet"

"Visiting family for a few weeks and it’s not somewhere I would want to live. Lots of trash on the streets, lots of construction, and people sitting on their front porch smoking weed. "

"Not many grassy patches for your dog to use, and lots of loud noises and construction. Lots of folks setting of fireworks on warm evenings too ."

"There are very few grassy areas to walk your dog, few trees to provide shade during the summer, and the neighbors light fireworks year round. There is a ton of development and construction happening in parts of it which is stressful for more sensitive dogs. "

"A small community that can be tight knit, but you could also be alone if that’s what you prefer. It’s not close to restaurants or hangouts but is very accessible to the city with one quick trip "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for 72 years. Grays Ferry born and raised. It was the outsiders who gave this neighborhood a bad name. There are still some "original" people left and they take care of their homes and neighborhood."
