"It’s within walking distance to public transportation but feels like living in a rural area. Quiet, safe, large private homes and a very active community association. Very rare to see people walking about within the residential area. "

"I would say the best part about walking dogs is there's not a lot of car traffic going through the neighborhood. the second best thing might also be a bad thing. there's no sidewalks in the neighborhood."

"You have access to means of transportation, busses, train. All run regularly during rush hour. Late-night commute is a bit tougher. You will need someone to meet you at the train or bus stop. Service is really in between during off hours."

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is incredibly bad. I cant believe I sent my child here, I moved my child to this school. The second she came back, she complained. She kept saying the teachers were bias towards children with special needs and completely disregard those who are gifted. No honors classes, students are incredibly rude and unmannerly. Although this school claims that it's "no place for hate," bullying is a very big problem in which they also disregard. Do not send your child here, from one parent to anotherParent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Bright Beginnings

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am so disgusted with this school!!! First off the school does not have a gym for the children so they are asked to pay $60 every quater to go to the YMCA ... shouldn't that be included inbtuition?! Secondly....the school year ends 6/13/14 and they want to collect a full months tuition...NONSENSE! The teachers for the most part are good....but this school and the leadership....hot mess!!!!! Not a happy parent, needs better structure and leadership!Parent Review12y ago7 Reviews - Immaculate Conception School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWith the exception of a few, the staff was detached and generally uninspired. Very strict attendance rules with lunch detentions that affect a child's ability to participate in school activities or receive honors, despite having an average over 93. Staff is not stable. My son had 4 different ela and math teachers in 1 year. Also, teachers can be very rude - and that comes from the top down. Principal is not sympathetic and cares more about perception than reality. We left after 6 years because the Principal became intolerable.Parent Review3y ago15 Reviews - Rising Stars Islamic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average**Disappointed with the Decline in Quality Under New Administration**I am deeply disappointed with the drastic decline in the quality of education and overall environment at The Wellspring Schools since the change in leadership during the 2023-2024 school year. The new administration, unfortunately, has proven to be highly incompetent, leading to numerous issues that have culminated in a mass exodus of talented and dedicated teachers.Under the previous administration, Wellspring was a place where students thrived academically and socially, supported by a team of passionate and skilled educators. However, the current leadership has failed to maintain those standards. The lack of effective communication, poor decision-making, and disregard for the needs of both students and staff have created a toxic atmosphere that is detrimental to learning. The most concerning consequence of this ineptitude is the alarming number of teachers who have left the school. These were individuals who were not only excellent educators but also mentors and role models for the students. Their departure has left a void that the administration has struggled to fill, resulting in a significant drop in the quality of teaching and an increase in classroom disruptions. Moreover, the administration's failure to address these issues has led to declining student morale and engagement. Parents are increasingly frustrated and concerned about the negative impact this is having on their children's education and future prospects. In conclusion, the change in leadership at Wellspring has been nothing short of disastrous. The new administration's incompetence has eroded the school's once stellar reputation, driving away exceptional teachers and leaving students to bear the brunt of this mismanagement. I sincerely hope that the school board takes immediate action to address these problems and restore the school to its former glory.Other Review1y ago1 Reviews
