6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principle and school safety are a nightmare. District 2 leaders are no better. They do absolutely nothing to keep the children safe in this school and there is a lot of bullying going on. They don't call or follow up with you unless your child tells you there was an issue at the school, and you report it. If you are thinking about having your child attend a school in Manhattan, where you think they are safe and learning anything I promise you this is not the school for them. While Joshua Satin school principal is at this school nothing will ever be resolved!Parent Review8mo ago28 Reviews - Ps Is 217 Roosevelt Island

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not work or send your kids to this school. Education is subpar. Admin does not provide any support to teachers. NONE in fact they will go out of their way to push you out. Student behavior is not held accountable. Lots of favoritism and nepotism.Teacher Review2mo ago43 Reviews - Lyceum Kennedy Japanese School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was willing to overlook things at first, but at this point I can’t ignore what’s happening. In a certain grade at this school, issues arise and simply never get resolved. Problems can happen anywhere—that’s not the issue. The real problem is that there is absolutely no visible effort to address or fix them. I’ve heard that the state of the classes is chaotic, and that things are happening that are completely unheard of. Despite this, there seems to be no intention or ability to resolve anything. Given the situation, I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities today.Parent Review4mo ago33 Reviews - The Town School
