The principle and school safety are a nightmare. District 2 leaders are no better. They do absolutely nothing to keep the children safe in this school and there is a lot of bullying going on. They don't call or follow up with you unless your child tells you there was an issue at the school, and you

Dirty School. Asbetos in the ceilings. Adminstrators and staff are awful and non communicative. I submitted photos of drug paraphanelia outside the pre k to administrators on multiple occasions. Teachers would be considered outright terrible if it wasnt for the low bar we have in NYC for DOE schools

Nightmare experience for my kindergartner which caused a steep incline in his academics. Administrators and coordinators are inept. I am the child of a public school teacher in early education and even with that bias this school experience would make me pro charter school. Complete lack of commitmen

My daughter started kindergarten in 2019/2020 school year at Ella Baker and the experience is amazing so far especially with the remote learning after COVID-19. They were so fast and ready to switch to virtual learning.

We have loved our experience at this school and feel lucky to have found out about it.
