"Across the street from Tudor City Park and UN. Near Grand Central Station, Bryant Park and Times Square. Near NYU and Bellevue hospitals. Near AMC Lowes movie theatre. Quietest place in Manhattan. Safe too with lots of police patrols. Dog friendly. Be in the heart of everything and in walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. Supermarkets here aren't that great though and they are expensive. "

"Not many good playgrounds in the area. Central Park is the closest park and it’s far to walk there. Need a cab or uber."

"I've lived here for over 40 years. It's convenient and offers restaurants, shopping, entertainment within a few blocks. Religious? Churches, synagogues, abound. Proximity to the UN promotes ethnic diversity."

"Quiet yet convenient, a little boring but easy going. Not much happening in the night since this is mostly a corporate area"

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was willing to overlook things at first, but at this point I can’t ignore what’s happening. In a certain grade at this school, issues arise and simply never get resolved. Problems can happen anywhere—that’s not the issue. The real problem is that there is absolutely no visible effort to address or fix them. I’ve heard that the state of the classes is chaotic, and that things are happening that are completely unheard of. Despite this, there seems to be no intention or ability to resolve anything. Given the situation, I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities today.Parent Review1mo ago33 Reviews - St Albans School
