I was willing to overlook things at first, but at this point I can’t ignore what’s happening. In a certain grade at this school, issues arise and simply never get resolved. Problems can happen anywhere—that’s not the issue. The real problem is that there is absolutely no visible effort to address or fix them. I’ve heard that the state of the classes is chaotic, and that things are happening that are completely unheard of. Despite this, there seems to be no intention or ability to resolve anything. Given the situation, I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities today.

My experience was great from Pre-K to elementary. The teachers were kind, patient, and great at teaching. All these issues began in middle school and beyond that. This school is not a good place for those who would like to involve their children in Christianity. I have gone to this school for 9 years, I am certain of what I am saying.

We just moved out of New York City, and We are missing this school. We are at another Montessori school - but it is not the same unfortunately. We were at this school for 3 years, and were happy with the progress - and the parent community. My son is already bored because he already knows the curriculum they are giving him. We miss you Montessori School of NY!We miss the NYC culture - the trips and understanding they learned about other cultures. My son's class had children from so many other countries - he learned so much about them. most important, he loved school and all his teachers. A hidden gem of a school - at a reasonable tuition.

Second year for son there. So far we are very happy about it. They are focusing a lot on reading, and not enough on math in my opinion.

As a long-time DOE employee and a parent of two children who have attended PS 384 since almost its inception, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding school community and the exceptional educators who have shaped my children's educational experiences. My children have been fortunate to be taught by such dedicated and caring staff members who took the time to nurture their individual strengths, ensuring they reached their potential.I am especially thankful to the Parent Coordinator, who consistently went above and beyond to include my children in enriching opportunities, such as sharing their sign language skills. We have also been fortunate to have worked closely with Ms. Britton, the amazing founding Principal, and the many teachers who communicated with us regularly about our children's progress and provided valuable guidance.My daughter has thrived in the Student Council, photography club, and ASL club, and my son, though only with the school for a brief time, still speaks fondly of the welcoming and supportive community.Thank you to everyone at PS 384 for your unwavering dedication to fostering such a positive and impactful environment for our children. We are deeply grateful for the experiences, support, and love you’ve provided.
