5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has never had issues prior to transferring to this school. My child was on A/B honor roll before attending Tony Alamo. Sadly, my child’s grades have declined. The school has a lot of bullying issues and doesn’t have a proper way to resolve them. Their method is to give “lunch detention for a few days” including the child who gets bullied. “To be fair”. What is that teaching our children? To me that is absolutely absurd! If my child feels the need to defend themselves, why should they be punished? My child received death threats from other students and has attempted to push off other students, and yet gets punishment. My child doesn’t feel they are able to speak up, and feels discriminated. “Mommy, why am I the only one getting in trouble?”. A child should not feel this way at a place of learning and what is deemed as “safe”. I am not the only parent who feels this way as I have asked others about their impression of Tony Alamo. My child did not dislike attending school until we ended up with this one UNFORTUNATELY. I do not recommend this school AT ALL.Parent Review2w ago12 Reviews - Charles & Phyllis Frias Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely love Frias. Our daughter has attended K-4th and every year has been an excellent experience. The teachers care, they constantly run quality family events, and our kid is getting a quality education. We literally have nothing but great things to say about Frias.Parent Review8mo ago27 Reviews - Aldeane Comito Ries Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJudith Steele is an amazing school with clearly dedicated teachers who care about the well-being of their students. There are many before/after school activities that are run by the teachers of the school (i.e. music, mathletes, chess club, writing club, musicals, etc.). The PTO is super engaged and hosts an all-out fall festival for the children every year. I cannot express more the appreciation I have for this amazing school and all the people who support it. My daughter has attended for 3 years now and has more than flourished.Parent Review8mo ago15 Reviews - Mark L Fine Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated this school in 2023 and honestly the school has changed but the teachers are engaging and helpful but the safety at the school can be concerning, there are a lot of crazy drivers and bad kids (once a kid threaten someone else). From my experience at the school it was good, but this school goes through a lot of teachers and my 4th grade teacher is now the P.E teacher. Though, the school is very engaging with the students they hold different events for each grades. For example at the end of the year the 5th graders walk throughout the entire , every hallway so that means every grade level. I think it's for the students so they can reflect on where they used to be and who they are now. The kids who go there are can be mean and they do say bad (don't think you kid is good kid at school if their good at home) some parents do need to keep them in check, manng that the teachers will get mad at them. Then again some teachers can be mean and can target specific kids which is just and fair, it didn't happen to me during my year but it can happen. Overall, put your kid into a school where you want them to grow and have fun so I would recommend this school but go with what you feel like is best for your child.Other Review5mo ago1 Reviews - Jan Jones Blackhurst Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is literally the best out of the elementary schools that my children have ever attended. From the moment I spoke to Ms Genovese, until now, Every single encounter has been nothing short of all things amazing! My daughter has some special needs and on top of their already winning attitudes and care for the GE students, they are 100 % participating in their special education program with care, concern and a true desire to see theses babies blasting forward ! The communication from Jan Jones’ team to parents, is communication to be envied. They make me feel safe leaving my child in their hands. They make me feel like she is seen, heard, understood and rallied for at this school! They make you feel like family and I will forever be grateful that my daughter gets to experience Elementary School here! What a privilege ! Side Note: school is squeaky clean Cross Guard team ( impeccable ) which is a huge deal I could go on but I hope this helps! If you bring your child here, just know, you got the golden ticket !Parent Review5mo ago2 Reviews
