"There are multiple ways to get downtown and you also have multiple ways to leave the state by train Amtrak or by airplane. Also there are plenty of places to shop and parks to walk as well as a trail that runs from Mattapan to Quincy"

"This neighborhood has taken a turn for better. people are starting to care more about maintaining their surroundings. Blue Hill Ave was just added on the Commuter Rail line and I expect to see things get even better."

"I and other folks walk their dogs all the time. they l let them play together too, but this area needs a dog park. Friendly neighborhood but only few restaurants. It wound definitely improve the social aspect. So hopefully someone can connect to the right people to make the dog park happen. But all in all its a family neighborhood. Its not very close to rte 93 but be patient you can take the red line trolley or bus to orange or red. Having fun and playing sports is inevitable everywhere. There's several schools around, a new library, There are new high school and middle schools that would interest parents. Do your research. Streets are pretty good but parking depends on the area. Lots of shopping stores to go to every week. "

Sufrio de bullying en el primer año y no vi el gran interes de solucionar el problema hasta que tomamos medidas contra la escuela. Veo que tienen mas horas en diversion que en estudio... son muchas las faltas!Other Review10mo ago - Dr. Catherine Ellison-Rosa Parks Early Ed School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf your child did not attend this school, please don’t make assumptions. My daughter learned to read within a month of joining Mr Ross class. She had an amazing 1st grade teacher and a wonderful pandemic 2nd grade teacher. The school supported us during the pandemic and the principal, Mr Rockoff brought a labtop to my home for my daughter to ensure she is connected we. She really thrived at EP and I have no regrets whatsoever. Her day starts early at 7:20 am and ends about 4:30. She is doing excellent in her new school and EP helped her. I would highly recommend EP and my son is on the waitlistParent Review2y ago - Pope John Paul Ii Catholic Academy Mattapan Campus

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is extremely unorganized. They don't seem to be modern. They don't start on time consistently. Teachers/staff walk in late at times causing parent to be late to work. No before school program. I like that the kids get to know about God however they can do a better job exemplifying Christ-Like behavior.Parent Review6y ago - Mildred Avenue K-8
