My daughters have been attending Kendale Lakes Elementary since kindergarten. I remember feeling very nervous in the beginning because, as a parent, sending your child to school for the first time can be scary. The unknown can make any parent anxious. However, as the years went by, my daughters and I truly began to feel like we were part of a family.Mrs. Martha T. Jaureguizar, the principal, is incredibly professional, kind, and warm-hearted. She creates such a positive and welcoming environment for the students and parents. The entire staff reflects that same level of care and dedication.Elena Alvarez has always shown how much she cares about the students and takes her job very seriously. You can tell she truly wants the best for every child. The front staff, including Barbie, the security guard, and Mr. Hawkins, are also amazing. They help keep the school safe while always welcoming families with open arms every single day.This school has been such an important part of my daughters’ childhood. They have watched my girls grow up over the years, and it makes me very emotional knowing this is their last year here.If you are considering Kendale Lakes Elementary for your children, I truly recommend it. You will not regret it. It is a school full of caring people who make students and families feel supported and valued.Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.

Kenwood is an amazing school! As a Kenwood parent I have seen firsthand how safety, learning, and the commitment to excellence are felt and lived up to every day. The teachers truly care about my kids. The administration, under prior principals and now under Ms. Oliu and Dr Q, are caring, passionate, responsive, and dedicated to supporting every student and family. This school has been a blessing and will continue to be one! Almost 100 years of success prove that Kenwood is the place to be!

Seventeen years. That’s almost two decades of morning drop-offs, school events, friendships, lessons, growth, and memories that will stay with our family forever.All three of my children have been blessed to call this school home. Seeing where my older two are today is proof of the incredible foundation they received here.This school didn’t just educate my children,it shaped them. It taught them responsibility, kindness, confidence, and perseverance. The teachers truly care. The administration leads with heart. The staff goes above and beyond. Every child is known, supported, and encouraged to be their very best.For 17 years, this community has felt like family. It’s bittersweet knowing our final chapter here is approaching with my youngest in 8th grade. I will miss the familiar faces, the traditions, and the feeling of knowing my children were always in the best hands.We are beyond grateful for the impact this school has had on our lives. The lessons learned here will stay with my children forever and so will the love.

This school truly has a big heart. We are incredibly grateful for what Dr. Jenny and Mr. Gus do for families in South Florida. Before being accepted into Roig Academy, my son struggled with motivation and anxiety. Our previous experience at a charter school was challenging, and he often felt defined by his test scores/test prep rather than his creative personally. At this school, the directors took the time to see him as a whole person. They recognized his strengths, believed in him, and welcomed him into a supportive and caring community. This is not just a school—it is a place where children are given autonomy and encouraged to advocate for themselves.Students take on meaningful responsibilities, including leadership roles and real-life projects such as organizing breakfasts and presentations. These experiences help build confidence and prepare them for the future. The administration works closely with families and is deeply committed to helping each child succeed. It truly feels like a team effort, and we are so thankful to be part of a community that is invested in our child’s growth and bright future.
