"I left my entire life here set a tell you the truth I practically grew up here I love the section of the neighborhood it’s peace and quiet you don’t hear a lot of yelling or screaming or you were here in most neighborhoods what I don’t like is that the cars use our streets and most of the other streets from the neighborhood like a passing zone and they don’t care if we have kids or not and I don’t think that’s good at all"

"All homes are on acres, close to the cities of South Miami, Coral Gables, Downtown Dadeland. Easy access to major roads and expressways. Great shopping and dining options to choose from ese by. People who live in this neighborhood, are friendly, walk their dogs, ride bikes by themselves or with their families, lots runners and groups of 10 sped racing bikers like to map their routes in the neighborhood early mornings, afternoon and weekends. "Every November, St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church has a wonderful Greek Festival for Fri. tl Sun. Greek favorite foods like Spanakopita & Moussaka & Greek Salad & Gyros & Baklava. Greek teens dance in costume. Arts & crafts. Rides and slides for the kids! In December they sell Xmas trees. Also, Hole in the Wall Restaurant has Taco Tuesday: $1 for four types with a paid drink (soda or beer on tap!) Amazing Cilantro-lime dressing! Don't miss this!"

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe only true Montessori school in Miami, all others are in in for the money and do not follow all the teachings of Maria Montessori. Children actually learn here without homework or tests. Yes, it can be done and this school has proved it to me.Parent Review16y ago1 Reviews - St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I came into this school community with the hope that my child’s unique needs would be met with understanding, creativity, and care. Unfortunately, we were asked to provide our own assistant for him — a request that made it clear the school does not have the necessary systems in place to support children who fall outside a narrow definition of “typical.” This expectation placed an unfair burden on our family and revealed a deeper issue in the school’s approach to diversity and inclusion. It is disappointing to see that the school is not equipped to support a full range of students, especially in a time when inclusive education should be the standard, not the exception. Diversity in learning styles, behaviors, and needs is a fact of every classroom, and it is the responsibility of educational institutions to rise to the challenge, not place that responsibility on families.Parent Review11mo ago8 Reviews - Smart Starts Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just started in January and I am so impressed with how caring and nurturing the environment is for the children. I am so glad I chose to enroll my baby at Smart Starts. The infant and toddler teachers are great!I can not even explain how much better my day goes knowing that my baby is in good hands. I would recommend you visit and tour the school so that you can see it for yourself.Parent Review5y ago26 Reviews - Carrie Brazer Center for Autism
