"It’s Miami, so there is going to be traffic almost all the time, relatively close to the metro rail "

"Calm, quiet, safe em beautiful! I love this place, close the UM which has become our back yard. Close to good restaurants. The property tax is quite high for a place where there is no sewer available."

"Traffic is terrible. Over 90% of Miami has been in construction for over 20 years . Like most cities, Coral Gables has its good/fancy and it’s really bad parts. "

"Coral gables is one of the most dog friendly neighborhoods in miami. They would love the sidewalks and peaceful strolls with their dogs amongst the oak tree streets."

"Coral Gables is the City Beautiful! Though the City’s code can be very restrictive, it does keep the neighborhood looking great."

"Easy access to parks and pools. Great people and an extremely safe area. Lots of things to do. Great schools. It is easy to get to everything that you need (groceries etc.) but you don’t have to deal with speeding cars and safety hazards with kids. "

"Close to all major roads, six miles to MIA, excellent city services. Coral Gables has it all. A circle was recently installed on Miller Rd and is working out very well. University of Miami is a wonderful neighbor in many respects."

"I live here since 1978. The area is clean, quiet, safe and friendly. The people are diverse but united by a sense of community pride. There are seniors, young families with babies, pets and superb nearby schools, shopping, dining, parks and some theater. The area is convenient to Metrorail, close to the airport and to downtown. High-end shopping centers are close by. "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current teacher and Alumni of CGHS, this is, without a doubt, the worst school I have ever taught and studied at. The primary factor for this is the teachers, especially Diana Van-Wyk. She is the "IB Coordinator" of the school, who demonstrates clear favoritism, laziness, apathy, and sexism. As a counsellor and coordinator of such a prestige program such as the IB, I would expect her to care for her students and support them fully through their academic journey, as would most people. However, since she has joined this school years ago, I have seen a noticeable decline in student mental health, overall happiness, and communication with teachers. This is what inspired me to become a teacher, so I could be everything she isn't. Furthermore, I have received multiple student complaints about her, and her failure of communication as well as her stubbornness. I don't think she understands that the students she deals with are socially maturer than most, perhaps indicating why she refuses to admit she's wrong. It is in the best interest of the school to remove her as a faculty.Teacher Review3mo ago24 Reviews - Riviera Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school lacks a lot since it’s a private school Communication from front office to security, the tone and the attitude very rude and disrespectful. . Communication lacks big time and administration do not follow through with issues that arise Favoritism plays a big role . Finally the lunch area for the kids is just miserable and the food is horrible…looks like prison food even the way it’s served. I know there is no perfect school but they could really work on improving because it’s not free.Parent Review1mo ago35 Reviews - Riviera Schools
