"Too much traffic on this street. Green areas are limited as properties themselves are on the small side. Some sidewalks are not even and some overgrowth from some property owners. "

"People walk their dogs at all times during the day. Never seen stray dogs or animals but some cats that around. Not that many kids because of the lack of sidewalks and street lights, plus in its majority the neighborhood it’s more mature crowed. "

"Great dog neighborhood- lots of quiet streets, people walk dogs at all hours. There is a really nice park (Schenley Park) as well where people often take their dogs. "

"Halloween is insane here, lots of people come from outside the neighborhood, blocks are cordoned off to walking people only. It’s amazing. There’s also regular events at Schenley Park for the community and in the hospital as well"

" summers are steamy, an ocean breeze pushes temperatures down a few notches, making Miami a great place for windsurfing, cycling, golf, boating and tennis. The city is part of the South Florida region, with Fort Lauderdale to the north and the Florida Keys to the south. To the west, suburbs run from the edge of the city to the Everglades, and the Atlantic Ocean borders Miami to the east. East South Beach and its lesser known neighbor, North Beach, have a village feel with its bodegas, boutiques and lots of Art Deco architecture. Flagship Neighborhood: South Beach South Beach, also known as “SoBe,” sits on the barrier island between the ocean and downtown on the mainland. It’s a pedestrian friendly locale with the added "

"Have lived here for 5 years, it’s an alright neighborhood. There very few sidewalks which means if you want to go for a walk you have to talk on the street. Not lit well either."

"It is not the best neighborhood, there are a lot of households crammed into small houses, and lots of noise during the weekend. Nothing is within walking distance. "

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have to mention one teacher has stood out in one of my daugthers academic experience. Mrs. Fleites - her first grade teacher. This teacher pushed my daughter out of shyness and has given her a love for school.. This wonderful teacher has motivated her to go above and beyond. We definitely recommend this school. My daughter is now going to 4th grade and still misses this school. We moved and had to transfer to another school.Parent Review8y ago7 Reviews - Flagami Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers at this school go above and beyond. They really care about their students and it shows. The communication between teachers, parents and the administration is really what creates that family feeling and makes me feel good about sending our child here.Parent Review5y ago4 Reviews - The Learning World Academy Coral Gables

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePlease do not waste! While some teachers do have love and compassion for children others are very dry and do not even teach the children basic core lessons. Smart Starts has purchased the school. The WebCams are not all inclusive of tuition you have to pay extra for them however because of all the changes due to painting projects as well as moving furniture , we have not seen our son. My son has been bitten FOUR times in the last seven weeks without any concern to the staff or administration. I was told this is a normal process of the toddler years and that there was no school policy. I finally made the decision to withdraw my son from the school. I had already paid the fall registration and fall fees however I was told the registration is not reimbursable in addition I was told that I would be reimbursed for a week when my son missed school for Influenza, and now they have gone back and said school policy for courtesy week is 3months min. Look at how many withdrawals so close to one another, and the corporate team at Smart Starts, still doesn't recognize their weaknesses, or acknowledge them. Please do not make the same mistake I made, and go elsewhere.Parent Review11y ago9 Reviews - The Biltmore School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff does not care about teaching and have no work ethic. They do not strive to go above and beyond or learn about your child. They are at best nice people but NOT real teachers. If your kid is slightly off they will insinuate they are autistic. It’s shameful.Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Westchester Academy and Learning Center

Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews - Apple Learning Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn Miami, there are few schools like Our International Academy (OIA). They truly stand out for their human approach and commitment to quality education, where family is a top priority. The small class sizes—no more than 18 students per room—allow for personalized attention and a higher standard of education. As part of their curriculum, they include extracurricular classes such as orchestra, performing arts, and sports, which enrich my children’s learning experience. The school uses a project-based learning approach, which makes the lessons interactive, engaging, and structured, ensuring meaningful learning. As a mother of three boys, I particularly appreciate that they don’t assign homework, which allows me to spend quality time with my kids, enjoy their childhood, and create beautiful memories together. Despite not having homework, the academic level is excellent and perfectly aligned with my children’s developmental stages.Another aspect I love is that OIA has a sister school, Bright Bridge Preparatory, which focuses on children with special needs. This has taught my kids a valuable life lesson: understanding and respecting that we are all different. It’s beautiful to see how they’ve developed empathy and acceptance through this connection.Although the school is not close to my home, I happily make the drive knowing it’s the ideal environment for my children to grow, learn, and thrive. OIA is more than a school—it’s a second family and a community I’m proud to be part of.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews
