Please stop with the fireworks, if you are truly an educator, then you know how harmful fireworks are to the wildlife and children

This is the WORST SCHOOL I have ever sent my son to . I get nothing but complaints all day EVERYDAY about someone bothering / touching my kid . The teachers don’t care neither does the principal (she never solves anything just pushes it to the side) . I’ve been to the school on multiple occasions already for issues that they do not resolve nor wish to resolve . This school is a joke & I would NEVER send my kid here again . If I had to rate it out of 10 it’d be a -10000. I wouldn’t recommend even for the worst of children that’s how terrible this school is .

I was a former student at this school, and there’s is one thing I can say about it. They never treat the sped kids equally. I have gotten emotional and verbal trauma from the students and teachers within the school. This is coming from a former student who attended this school and is on the autism spectrum, they never written any incidents that happened inside the school whenever I told my mom. It wasn’t until I went to another school that my mom found out in a PPT that they never logged in what has happened in the past with the paraprofessionals and teachers. I give this school a 0/5, please don’t send your students there if you want them to have mental health issues later on in life.

Do NOT accept a lottery acceptance from this school. Only the teachers in this school really care for the students, the counselor even picks favorites, usually with the female students. The P.E. teacher only cares for participation and does not care if you physically cannot participate, or even for medical reasons. The teachers there is a lottery in itself, you could get an amazing teacher who really wants the kid to flourish, or one who doesn't care for your student whatsoever.

This school is completely chaotic. The kids tend to lose recess quite often. They are switched out of classrooms with no communication. The teachers seem extremely stressed like they don't get any support. There are no clubs or activities just lighthouse after school and it's not structured at all. Don't send your kids here. Teachers are respectful for the most part.

My both kids went there back on 2013-2014 ,teachers was nightmare principal was even worse!! My son was getting hit by the teacher so many time and i didn’t know one of the aides told me!! She was grabbing him by the ear and swing him around!!! I went to the principal and BOE and was worthless!! We had to move before i was going to lose my mind and do the unthinkable!!! We moved to Trumbull that was the best decision ever,my kids were happy to go to school and been here since!!
