As the parent of a special needs child, choosing the right school was incredibly important to me, and I couldn't be happier with our experience here. My daughter's teacher is supportive, proactive, and always keeps me informed about her progress while providing helpful tips to support learning at home. Her specialists are also very communicative and keep me updated on her development and needs. The paraprofessionals are caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the students.The principal is incredibly hands-on and visible throughout the school. She greets students and parents, visits classrooms regularly, and creates a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone.It's clear that the entire staff genuinely cares about the children and their success. I am so grateful for the support my daughter has received and highly recommend this school to other families.It's clear that the entire staff genuinely cares about the children and their success. I was a former student at this school, and there’s is one thing I can say about it. They never treat the sped kids equally. I have gotten emotional and verbal trauma from the students and teachers within the school. This is coming from a former student who attended this school and is on the autism spectrum, they never written any incidents that happened inside the school whenever I told my mom. It wasn’t until I went to another school that my mom found out in a PPT that they never logged in what has happened in the past with the paraprofessionals and teachers. I give this school a 0/5, please don’t send your students there if you want them to have mental health issues later on in life.

My experience with St. Andrew Academy was extremely disappointing. Throughout the years, I felt that the school consistently prioritized defending its teachers and administration, even in situations where it was clear that my child was right.In my opinion, many of the teachers were not adequately prepared to handle certain academic and behavioral issues. Whenever concerns were raised, I felt that the school’s position had already been decided before truly listening to the family’s perspective.The principal also appeared unprepared to handle conflicts or constructive criticism. On more than one occasion, when I questioned decisions or raised concerns regarding my child, the response was not an effort to resolve the issue, but rather emails suggesting that my child should leave the school.As a parent, I invested significant time, trust, and money expecting a supportive environment where families and the school work together for the benefit of the students. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this school to other families. No parent should have to go through the situations that my family experienced while paying for a private education.
