What Locals Say about Easton

  • Carly
"It’s small, quiet and calm. Most neighbors keep to themselves. There are not a lot of young families. It’s not a “walk-able” neighborhood."
  • Chris Levesque
"Overall a quiet and nice rural area. Relatively close to most convinces and some restaurants and nightlife."
  • Mandlas
"Great bucolic neighborhood. Good place to get away from the madding crowd and reconnect with nature. "
  • Chris Levesque
"Farmers markets are great and there is a couple in the area along with tree fas as well. Could use more outdoor live music events and wine tastings or brewery in the area."
  • Chris Levesque
"More dog parks, dog friendly restaurants and trials. These would help promote a more inclusive and neighborly feel for the entire town."
  • Madisonice1234
"It’s very safe in this area. Not a lot of crime except for occasionally kids coming in from highways and just stealing cars. Take your keys inside lock your cars and everything will be in tact. My neighborhood near the tree farm past silvermans farm is extremely safe. Expensive to live here but definitely worth it if you’re looking for something safe and not a lot of noise ."
  • Mikegrob
"There are several dog parks and trails to walk your dogs. You’ll always meet someone walking your dog in lower Easton. A very dog friendly town. "
  • Mikegrob
"Convenient. Easton is located close to Merritt Parkway, I-95 and I-84. You might find heavy traffic on Sport Hill Road during apple picking season. "
  • Beatrice G.
"It’s a very safe area with the police and fire department nearby, but there are virtually no sidewalks, making safety an issue. "
  • Trulia User
"I love this area and house even though we have to move out of this town because it is pricey! I am blessed to have enjoyed this town so much "
  • Beatrice G.
"There are no sidewalks anywhere or safe places to walk your dog. You can really only walk along the sides of busier roads and then make sure to check your dog for ticks after. "
  • Klachioma426
"Away from the city hustle and bustle but close to NYC and cities. Love the country area! Great schools!"

  • Mongoose_696
"There are None. Peace and tranquility. There is a farm up the toad and a few in town. So during holidays there’s always a clinic or tutorial going on for all ages to enjoy. "
  • Kruk1
"I live in Easton for 25 years and it is a wonderful place to raise children and enjoy the community and small town vibe. However for older retirement age folks it is unsuitable from taxes, maintaining homes and getting around to stores etc. "
  • Dan
"It is very secluded and quiet. Virtually no crime. Great elementary school. Local farms. Close to fairfield. "
  • Charles R. m.
"Lived here for 19 years growing up and loved every minute of it. Easton in general is amazing but this part of town shines with multiple historic homes in the neighborhood. I lived on Stone Wall Farm, and our neighbors were some of our closest friends, I would reccomend to anyone that they move here and enjoy the company and tranquility that is offered here."
