"Parental supervision is always necessary. Drugs are common. Most of the community living around is good and friendly. "

"Nothing. I hate living here. It’s not safe and there is no privacy. I am working on saving money to move to a new city where my kids can play safe outside "

"Get your family & GO! Out of Bridgeport, out of CT for that matter! Taxes high as ever, roads are awful, schools are horrendous! Either your Rich or Poor in CT! No in between. Rental prices are insanely obnoxious and so not worth it, you pay out the nose for property taxes, can’t win in CT! Just Don’t!"

"They would love the dogs, they would hate the stray cats. There are a lot of stray cats running around because people keep feeding them."

"Not a “homey” safe atmosphere. Roadside parking is a nightmare. Cars are sideswiped daily and not a neighborhood you can sit or walk outside in. "

"I’ve been living on this side of town for two years. You make due with what you have but it’s very uncomfortable. People randomly are asking for things from you. Men are disgusting and always calling you out your name. And there are woman on the corner by the high school selling there goods. Obviously, if you live in this area, it’s due to financial reasons!! "

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids attended this school, all 3 of them have had the same kindergarten teacher. All the staff members are great, including the principal. They keep an open communication with the parents and check in all the time so we know exactly how are kids are doing.Parent Review5y ago3 Reviews - Cesar Batalla School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo NOT accept a lottery acceptance from this school. Only the teachers in this school really care for the students, the counselor even picks favorites, usually with the female students. The P.E. teacher only cares for participation and does not care if you physically cannot participate, or even for medical reasons. The teachers there is a lottery in itself, you could get an amazing teacher who really wants the kid to flourish, or one who doesn't care for your student whatsoever.Other Review2y ago6 Reviews - Curiale School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school is the worst ever possible. there has been drama every single day. the bathroom wall has racial slur, talking trash about other people and some has been reported but yet, still not been solve. bullying, 2 kids expelled already and 1 kid been to juvy, but since I don't want to say much cause, I can get in trouble and my parent may get mad at me, but the good things is you can make friends easily and some people are nice there. but that is the only good thing there. i wouldn't recommend this school if your kids cant handle bullying. or had been in fight.Student Review3y ago6 Reviews
