NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe name of the school has changed to Village Country Day Preschool. My friend referred me to this school because she had an awesome experience when her son attended 10+ years ago. The play area and classrooms are very nice, clean, and welcoming. Miss. Debbie is a very experienced teacher and has helped my daighter grow tremendously in the short time that she has been in her class.Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - Our Lady Of Perpetual Help

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school used to be great but then in 2023 we got a new principal and everything went down hill many of the staff that have taught their for years prior left the school. The new principal hired teachers that do not know how to teach students adequately. The math teacher has had many complaints against him and nothing has been done he often moves on with math units whether the student understands it.many students have complained about this fast past teaching and he says and I quote “it is not my fault you guys don’t understand”.he shifts the blame on the students rather that his teaching methods which have proven not to work among students. The social studies teacher had a HORRIBLE attitude towards specific students while treating other students with an positive attitude. She is childish and when she doesn’t want to teach she shuts down and sits at her desk with her feet up on her phone. She screams at anyone and everyone. She also talks about student in the open where students can here. She gives students dirty looks. She has a specific group of students that she doesn’t like. She TARGETS students and when they bring this up to the head of the school the principal she dismisses it and often does not care what the student feels. The principal threatens student and sometimes parents. She implanted a discipline system brought by the HIGH-SCHOOL she used to teach at into a K-8 school. The system is flawed because you can get a strike for chewing gum and a strike for making inappropriate gestures. The system doesn’t not weigh the consequences according.3 strikes is a conduct slips 3 conduct slips are a detention and 3 detentions are a suspension.I have seen many kinder students get conduct slips so instead of learning there abcs the kinder students are worrying about getting. When you get sent to the office the principal makes you wait for a very long time that causes u to miss instruction time and for what just to sit in the office. The water falls have mold in them many of the chairs for students are broken and some of the tables are broken as well. Not all of the eight grade students got to participate in the class Disney trip due to their behavioral grade well many students got to go that had the same grade in behavior as them. The school just picked and chose which student to allow to break the rules. Many teachers are leaving this year. A total of 5 that most of those teacher worked their for the past 3 years under a different administration.I DO NOT recommend hereStudent Review11mo ago25 Reviews - Rise & Shine Preschool & Kindergarten
