"Good neighborhood and accessible with a hospital close by. Needs a car to commute and parking is moderate."

"Far from everything hip. Good and bad, but I add 20 minutes to every trip as we are in a far corner of the San Fernando Valley."

"I’ve lived here for 11 years. Everyone is kind and very friendly, greet each other in a very communal way. Safe to walk your dog at night or just take a stroll! "

"Lack of a dog park maybe but I’m not a dog owner so I wouldn’t really know...they might like that there are many dog owners in the area"

"Chatsworth is a nice city. It appeals to all age groups and provides better safety than a lot of other surrounding areas. It would be a great place to raise a family or start out on your own."

"None. There are no real events I live in a community nestled in the rocks. It is beautiful. As you move more south it is less secluded."

"Chatsworth has become the transient capital of the valley. The evenings look like night of the living dead. Its a shame Chatsworth has come to this."

"There are a lot of transients walking around the area all the time, it makes my children feel unsafe walking to and from school. The city should really try to do something about this problem as it compromises the safety of the tenants here. "

"Aside from a few miles on the 118, it’s just as bad as the rest of Los Angeles but with the added bonus of strong wind gusts and the hillsides frequently catching fire"

"I grew up in Chatsworth and my parents still live here. In our area, west of Topanga, there are some families but also a lot of retirees. Chatsworth is beautiful with many old oak trees and large lots with views of the Santa Susana mountains "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEgremont School has been a truly wonderful experience for our family. I have three children currently enrolled, and since joining last year, each of them has thrived both academically and socially. One of the school's standout strengths is its smaller class sizes, which allows for personalized attention that every child deserves. The teachers and staff are genuinely caring and deeply invested in our children’s growth and well-being. The campus is beautiful and meticulously maintained, with a strong emphasis on safety and community. The school offers a wide range of sports and extracurricular activities, and the summer camp was a highlight for my kids. The leadership is outstanding. The principal sets a tone of excellence, holding both students and staff to high standards. There’s a clear sense of structure and fairness. Having experienced both public and private schools in the area, none have come close to what Egremont provides. My children have built lasting friendships and memories. Egremont offers the childhood experience every parent dreams of providing for their children.Parent Review8mo ago65 Reviews - St. John Eudes

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. John Eudes School is an amazing school that has been a meaningful place for my daughter to grow and learn. It’s a close-knit community where everyone knows your name and truly cares. During these important formative years, the confidence and faith that SJE instills in its students is absolutely invaluable. We’re so grateful to be part of the SJE family!Parent Review9mo ago24 Reviews - Monarch Christian School
