I would not recommend this school based on our family’s experience, and my biggest concern was the way the school was managed by the principal.Communication was inconsistent, follow-through was poor, and important concerns were not handled with the level of professionalism I expected from school leadership. We had situations where meetings were scheduled and not followed through on, information was unclear, and decisions that should have been communicated much earlier were addressed at the last minute.The principal’s handling of our situation left us with very little confidence in the administration. Parents should not have to repeatedly follow up just to get clear answers about important matters involving their child’s education.What bothered me most was the lack of accountability and consistency. When families are trusting a school with their children, the principal should be someone who communicates clearly, follows through, and makes parents feel confident that concerns are being taken seriously.Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I would encourage parents to pay very close attention to how the administration communicates and handles concerns before making a long-term commitment to this school.Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school.

There aren’t enough positive things I could say about being part of the community at Highland Hall! Having been at the school for three years, and having been a very active member of the schools parent community, I can say with full confidence that it is the complete staff and parent collaboration that makes the school so amazing. Both of my children are thriving in this environment, where the focus is not on technology, but in developing their creative skills in writing, mathematics, music, sports, and above all how to be wonderful humans with their fellow classmates and teachers. We see a dramatic difference from the students around the school in comparison to children who are at the same age group going to public school and for us there’s no comparison. This environment allows the students to thrive in ways we only hoped our children would experience. We truly have only wonderful things to say about our experience thus far in these last three years and will absolutely look forward to staying at Highland Hall for the remainder of their education.

I graduated from this school a couple of years ago.I wish I could had gone to a different school.The teachers gave you assignments that they said would help in my high school classes.It never did I had to learn my way back up to where I supposed to be in my high school level.It was the most I’d ever studied and struggled.The teachers rushed assignments to get to the point of where the class was supposed to end off at the end of the year to get paid and barely cared about assisting students with learning.The main issue I had was the principal.He would introduce stupid rules that weren’t necessary.He didn’t care about the teachers he hired and wanted the cheapest one he could get giving me the worst learning experiences ever.He hired most of his family members so he could pay them less and just honestly made the school worse from before he came into the role.I would not come back if I could relive my life.For what the tuition is too it is a robbery they shouldn’t charge that much if there do this bad of a job.
