POC students are not safe at this school period. Expect overtly racist comments, slurs and innumerable micro-aggressions from students, other parents, teachers, staff and administrators. The harm to sense of self is not worth any perceived academic gains. POC parents are not welcomed into the community. In our time here it was common to see POC students and families last a year or less.Expect a lot of white tears if you bring the racism problem to the administration and be clear that’s all you will get. I can personally think of 15 POC families that came and went in our time at Trinity. Ask the admissions office for their contact information (or get a yearbook and look them up yourself) to learn first hand how they were treated at this “Christian” school. Imagine the guilt of paying money to have your child exposed to hurtful attitudes, “jokes”, and behaviors.
