"Noisy , no parking at all. Really bad communication between the staff and residents. A lot of stray cats and roaches and rats and possums. Property looks like it is just painted over once someone moves out, even the bathtub. They took parking away from residents which is supposed to be first come first served, and started charging over 75 dollars for a reserved parking spot that you cannot choose. Basically, whatever is available, could possibly be far from your place of living. And it’s only one reserved spot per household. When school is in session, there is always traffic or always traffic around 5 on the school street. Price is too high for living in a bad neighborhood with hardly no benefits. "

"There are homeless people out on the street every day, street are dirty all the time and you need to be careful crossing the street. Even at a crosswalk. The traffic here is horrible and most drivers don't care if a pedestrian is crossing."

"Horribly loud every Sundays from day to night because of the “Domingo party” at “Mariachi Plaza”. So many homeless cars reserved almost of street parkings. Terrible traffic on the bridges to cross the river every morning. "

"Tired of the people here that are moving in. I’ve been here for 23 years and certain streets get uglier and uglier by the week. People keep throwing their trash on the street and it just builds up. They keep building apartments here when it’s already too populated here. There’s never no where to park due to it being so packed here. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLast year was the first year my oldest started kindergarten there and I must say it was the best decision my husband and I made. This school provides not only a GREAT education but also teaches the students great Catholic values. The teachers and staff are always so friendly and approachable. My youngest will be starting here next year and he is so excited to start because he sees how much his older brother enjoys going to school.Parent Review6y ago14 Reviews - Our Lady Of Talpa

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I am being honest don't send your kids to this school, it is utterly a mess, everything is just for money. The teachers aren't patient and those who were left to better places. I can say this because I experienced it as a former student. The school makes it unfair for those who financially un-stable. If you are looking for a school with joy, non-bullying, non- attitude teachers, strict but makes it fun, non- charging everything, don't go here or send your child here. They want things that only contribute themselves. Just until a couple of months ago they " Remodeled," the school, when I mean remodeled I mean paint over the walls and water fountains and the bathrooms have been there since 2006. The staff don't put any effort and are not patient, the only hard working person is the lady in the office. My family even have experienced many things there, and wouldn't go back. The school and community change your child and the teachers make it very hard and never really go through a explanation until they understand they just go over briefly and don't even care to ask if they understand it now.. Don't forget those students usually 6-8 are very disrespectful towards the teachers. I thank those who were actually making things fun there but overall I don't and would never go back there at least not with those teachers. I forgot to mention there are unlicensed "Helpers," there too! Anyways have a great day and I suggest you move on! :)Parent Review5y ago8 Reviews
