"No good for living in this place, a lot homeless, streets dirty, not safely for your family or friends"
  • Trulia User
"Chinese culture, food, celebration. central to all bus lines, civic center, excitement of big city downtown "
  • Jeanine T.
"I drive to work. There is a lot of traffic during rush hours. It is also crowded when there are games at Dodger stadium. "
  • Bryan A.
"nothing is special at all here, it's terrible and no one should ever buy a place any where near here"

"Not a great family oriented area. It’s dirty and we have a major homeless problem. It’s dirty everywhere and parking is even worse "
  • Mimunton
"It’s pretty safe and quiet here. There are a lot of roaches. Parking kind of sucks because of the Dodgers. Decent food selection. Drivers are a little reckless at stop signs. No good grocery stores. Not many good parks. Relatively affordable but that’s going to change. Probably not a child’s ideal place to live, honestly, but it’s also not the worst place in LA."
  • Naida V.
"dog lovers but rarely. very tight community any outsiders will be scrutinized and will take a long time to penetrate their circle of trust. but once you're good , you're good...and they'll accept you as one of their own. I love that this community is very family oriented . and there's a lot of activities for the community. you can walk down the street with no worries .."
  • Janet S.
"I've lived here since I was little so I know my way around it with my eyes close. its a peaceful calm neighborhood and everyone is friendly."
  • jessica
"I just moved into this area and it is truly a hidden gem! Skyline views, a short walk to chinatown with it's nightlife and neon lights, gentle rolling hills, and elysian park as your backyard! Great area not discovered by the hated hipster yet either!"
