"The houses in the area are getting higher while the schools are still struggling. How can you have homes for a half a million with low quality schools? I say don’t let the property value go up until the schools rating & satisfaction by majority goes up. "

"Mixed neighborhood with new families, retired Phillians and students. It's very quiet. Drexel and Penn police always out. People don't bother unless you're bothering them. Simple. Plenty of various shops, grocery stores (including 24HR stores,) and plenty of things for light entertainment. 10 minutes on the EL from Center City or Upper Darby. Alternatively, you can take the trolly or bus any other direction. Convenient to 30th Street station, as well as, Delaware Expressway which will take you all over."

"I work at the hospital so it’s an easy and convenient commute by walking 2 blocks. To get into center city, the El (Market-Frankfort line) is just 1.5 blocks away. To get to other locales, there’s the trolley system and if need be there are several bus routes. Parking is abundant most of the times, during typical parking rushes it take maybe 3mins to find parking and that’s only 0.5-1 block away from home. The area focuses more on delivery options for food rather than sit-in ambiance restaurants due to the dense population of University students."

"There’s a mixture of young families, college students and Philadelphia natives that own their homes and pass it on to their family members. University City has tons of places to eat and some unique places to shop and be entertained, all of which are within walking distance. The EL takes you straight to Center City in about 12 minutes. There’s also trolleys available to commute around the neighborhoods, to the Museum of Art, the Zoo, the main Free Library of Philadelphia and into Brewery town or the opposite direction, going further west towards Upper Darby and other suburbs quaint suburbs."
