"The actual campus area is what it is, but the more residential and community feel starting around Clark Park and heading west until 52nd Street is truly wonderful. Strong community vibes, very safe, robust public transit, lots of diversity, and excellent for bike riders. "

"I live in this neighborhood and sometimes it's very noisy - people talking and laughing loudly in the middle of the night. Sometimes groups of students are screaming and yelling on the streets. And it can happen that even in the middle of the day some Afro-Americans to scream uncensored words behind you. When you walk on the street people run purposely into you, they don't know to walk in their 'lane'. And on top of that there is so much trash on the streets. It's no fun to live in this neighborhood. Only if you have a job at UPenn or near you can still consider living in West Philly, other than that stay away from this neighborhood. Houses are overpriced and rarely are worth the money. The market is slowing down because the offer is so poor."

"We have lots of fun activities especially in the summer. One of my favorites is Movies in Clark park, where families can gather to watch a new movie outside. We also have porchfest, an annual local music showcase on people’s front porches. "
